- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dice up the pepper and onions and then mix it in with the ground beef and cook over medium heat until the beef is done. Drain off any excess grease.
- Once the beef is done add all the ingredients BUT the bacon in and stir really well.
- Pour the baked bean mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish or another large pan. Then top the casserole with chopped raw bacon.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. You want to ensure the bacon is fully cooked.
- Then allow to cool a few minutes and dish up this thick and delicious baked beans with ground beef recipe.

- Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, place the bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate. Cut bacon into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Combine the baked beans, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, and onions in a 2-quart casserole dish. Stir in 2/3 of the cooked bacon and 1/4 of the brown sugar until evenly mixed. Cover the bean mixture with the remaining bacon, and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven until hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, onions and bell peppers. Add the pork and beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar to the mixture. - Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and carrot; cook and stir until onion is tender and transparent. Stir in the sugar, red pepper and mushrooms and continue to cook until onion is browned.

- Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.

- Cook beans in water in a covered pan until soft, about 2 hours on medium.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Drain water and save about 1 cup of water.
- Add remaining ingredients plus the reserved bean liquid.
- Simmer, covered, for about 3 hours in the oven at 350°F.
- For Biscuit Topping: Mix the ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls on top of casserole, 20 minutes before serving time.
