HONEY GARLIC PORK CHOPS
Juicy pan-fried pork chops with a sweet and sticky honey garlic glaze.

Steps:
- Take the pork chops out of the refrigerator 20-30 minutes before cooking. Sprinkle the chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add the olive oil and butter.
- Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the chops to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes until well browned.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and cider vinegar.
- Turn the chops over. and reduce the heat to medium-low. Sprinkle the minced garlic around the chops and cook until golden, about 30 seconds (don't move the chops).
- Pour the honey mixture around the pork chops and continue to cook about 4-5 minutes longer until cooked through but still a little pink (135 F).
- Remove the chops to a plate and cover with foil.
- Increase the heat to medium and simmer the glaze until it thickens, about 5 minutes. Add any juices accumulated in the plate with the pork chops.
- Pour the glaze over the pork chops and sprinkle with green onions if desired.

- Season Pork Chops with black pepper, salt and chili powder, then set aside to marinate.
- In a small bowl whisk sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey and garlic, to use as glaze.
- Spray oil to a heated flat frying pan.
- Fry Pork Chops for 30 seconds on each side.
- Lightly brush the glaze mix on each side of the Pork Chops until it cooks to a medium brown.
- Serve in a platter and sprinkle red crushed pepper flakes.

- Combine the salt and pepper and dried thyme and rub on the pork chops. Press a sprig of thyme into each chop. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and add the pork chops, thyme-side down. Sear 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until just browned and the interior is no longer bright pink. Transfer to a warm plate.
- Pour off the fat from the skillet, return to the heat, add the stock and wine, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and serve.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown pork chops 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and butter together in a bowl and pour over the pork chops in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let pork chops sit in the baking dish 5 minutes more to soak up juices.

- Heat a medium-sized cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Dry the pork chops with paper towels then season them on both sides with Italian seasoning, sea salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle half of the oil over one side of the pork chops and use your fingers to spread it around.
- Add the pork chops to the hot pan oiled side down. Sear the chops for 4-5 minutes, or until a golden crust forms. Rub the remaining oil over the top side of the pork chops then flip them over. Sear them for another 3-4 minutes then remove them from the pan and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- While they're resting, mix the softened butter with honey, garlic, and parsley. When you're ready to eat, add a dab of butter on top of each pork chop before serving.

- Fry porkchops about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Combine milk, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms with liquid & garlic powder.
- Remove porkchops from pan.
- Add soup mixture to pan & bring to a boil.
- Put porkchops back in pan let simmer 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately.

My friend Wendy introduced me to Honey Garlic Pork Chops at an amazing Chinese restaurant in town, Sea Garden. They are absolutely so delicious--I had to come home and try to recreate them. This is as close as I can get.

- Heat oil in a large (twelve to fourteen inch) heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat.
- When oil is hot, add pork pieces, being careful not to crowd. (If skillet is too crowded, it won't cook properly. Split the pork into two batches, if needed. There should be space between the pieces, so that liquid can evaporate).
- While cooking, season pork with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
- Saute pork, turning occasionally, until pork pieces are nicely browned and turning crisp on all sides.
- Add garlic and continue to stir until fragrant, approximately one or two minutes.
- (If the pork was split into batches, combine the cooked meat and garlic before going to next step).
- Turn heat down to medium; add honey to pork.
- Stir well, continue to cook for two to three more minues until honey has coated pork well and has slightly thickened (and darkened).
- Enjoy!

- Mix together marinade ingredients and bring to boil.
- Pour over pork and let stand in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight.
