This is a must at any family event my grandmother hosts! It's always out on the counter the whole time we're there...but it never lasts long.

- Combine all ingredients (can use electric hand mixer) and shape into ball.
- Refrigerate, but let set out at room temperature before serving.

SHARP CHEESE BALL
This tasty cheese ball is ideal as either an appetizer or delightful afternoon snack. Serve with a variety of crackers, bread, and fruit. Optionally, you may roll the cheese ball in shredded chipped beef if you want a little variety.

Steps:
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine sharp cheddar processed cheese food, blue cheese, cream cheese, red wine vinegar, and garlic salt. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
- Shape into one large ball or two small ones. Roll in chopped nuts.

CHEDDAR HORSERADISH CHEESE BALL
Steps:
- 1. Mix both of the cheeses, the onion, horseradish, 1 of the tablespoon parsley, Worcestershire, salt to taste and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a medium bowl until evenly combined. Form the cheese mixture into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill until firm and the flavors have blended, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 2. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator up to 30 minutes before serving. Cook the bacon in skillet until crisp, transfer to a paper towel, and when cool crumble. Mix the bacon with the nuts and remaining tablespoon parsley in a shallow bowl. Roll the cheese ball in the mixture so that it is coated evenly. Serve with vegetables and crackers.
CHEESE BALL I
This is a wonderful cheese ball. It is very easy to make and simply delicious. Whenever I make it for gatherings or work it always gets great reviews. Serve with an assortment of crackers.

- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the Swiss and cheddar cheeses, onion, bacon, pecans, pimientos, relish, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour., In a small shallow bowl, combine the bacon, parsley, pecans and poppy seeds. Shape cheese mixture into a ball; roll in bacon mixture. CREAM AND CHEDDAR CHEESE BALL
Very tasty, and quick to prepare, with a minimum of ingredients. McLaren's Imperial Cheese (red container, black lid) is I believe a Canadian product from the Kraft family. It's described as a "Sharp Cold Pack Cheddar". If this particular brand is not available to you, I would think any sharp cheddar would work equally as well. Best made the day before serving. Cooking time indicates minimum chilling time.

- Combine the cream cheese, cheddar, Brie, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. With an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until incorporated. Add the parsley and continue to beat on low speed until just combined. Form the mixture into a ball and refrigerate until set.
- While the cheese ball sets, coarsely chop the pecans and spread on a rimmed plate.
- About 30 minutes before serving, remove the cheese ball from the fridge. Roll the ball in the pecans, pressing them firmly to the ball, until completely covered. Let soften at room temperature for 30 minutes. Serve.

This is a very tasty cheese ball recipe that I got from my cousin. You can make it with lower in fat cheese. I usually use the lower in fat cheese and you can't tell a difference.
