BARBECUE KIELBASA

Steps:
- In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. If desired, serve over rice.

ZESTY BBQ KIELBASA
This recipe is an old school favorite of mine, that our cafeteria served. I was lucky enough to get the recipe from my best friends mother who worked in the cafeteria...been enjoying them ever since. My kids just love this recipe...makes a great appetizer and can easily make a double recipe, for parties.. I hope you try them...

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a small to medium skillet, brown onions in butter.
- 2. In a small bowl, whisk all other ingredient, except kielbasa. Add mixture to skillet, mix with onion and simmer a few minutes.
- 3. In a small casserole dish, spread Kielbasa slices.
- 4. Pour sauce over Kielbasa and toss to coat. Note: You could probably use 2 pounds of sausage with the amount of sauce, we just like ours saucier. Any less sauce with a pound of kielbasa is too dry for our tastes.
- 5. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, or until good and bubbly. I then place under broiler to caramelize a few minutes. Just my preference. Serve with toothpicks. Enjoy!

- Combine the beer, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a large skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally; reduce heat to low and add the kielbasa. Simmer until kielbasa is browned and glazed, about 1 hour.

ZESTY KIELBASA STIR-FRY
I made up this recipe because I had cabbage and broccoli slaw and kielbasa that needed to be cooked up. I just finished cooking it for the first time and Wow! I loved it, my DH loved it, even the kids all loved it and ate up every bite. Hint: do all your cutting up before you begin to cook. Great served with rice.

- Heat up a large frying pan or wok on med-high heat.
- Add garlic powder, paprika, turmeric, and red pepper flakes to dry pan. Stir, let the spices heat up in the dry pan for about 1 minute. This releases the aromatic oils and helps the spices to blend.
- To the spices add olive oil, kielbasa, both onions, and the carrots. Stir to combine and cook 5-7 minutes, or until carrot begins to get tender.
- Add prepared mustard, water, cabbage, and broccoli slaw. Stir fry until cabbage is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
