WHITE PEACH SANGRIA

White Peach Sangria image

This is my adaptation of a drink served at Applebees. It is so easy and cheap. The recipe I wrote is for a single 10-oz drink, but feel free to adapt to make a pitcher (or two :-) The brands don't really matter but these are my personal preferences that I wanted to remember. And feel free to add whatever fruit you like! Best if served chilled of course!

WHITE PEACH SANGRIA

White Peach Sangria image

This white peach sangria is the perfect summer cocktail recipe combining refreshing white wine with fresh peaches, nectarines and lime juice!

Provided by Whitney Bond

Categories     Drinks

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 nectarines
5 peaches (divided)
1 lime (thinly sliced)
1 tbsp sugar
2 750 ml bottles chenin blanc (chilled)
½ cup apricot brandy
¼ cup triple sec

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil.
  • Add the nectarines and 3 peaches.
  • Boil for 2-3 minutes or until the skins begin to peel off easily.
  • Remove from the boiling water and place immediately in an ice bath.
  • Once cool enough to touch, remove from the ice bath and remove the skins of the nectarines and peaches.
  • Slice each peach and nectarine and remove the seeds.
  • Place in a blender or food processor with 1 cup of cold water and puree.
  • Place the sliced lime and sugar in a large pitcher or punch bowl.
  • Muddle the sugar with the limes.
  • Add the chenin blanc, brandy, triple sec and peach/nectarine puree to the pitcher.
  • Dice the remaining 2 peaches and add to the pitcher.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until ready to serve.
  • I also chose to freeze watermelon balls to serve with the Sangria instead of using ice cubes.
  • Simply use a melon baller to make small watermelon balls, then place in the freezer until ready to serve.

SWEET WHITE PEACH SANGRIA

Sweet White Peach Sangria image

This recipe originally started out from Food Network's Bobby Flay. After the first pitcher disappeared, in no time flat, I began to adapt (and perfect) this refreshing summer drink that left my guests not only asking for more, but for the recipe. I increased the amount of triple sec and peach schnapps, since I would add in club soda- to give a refreshing effervescent fizz to my drig. You can easily adapt this recipe to suit your personal preferences by using either a white wine (like a Sauvignon Blanc) or even a White Zinfandel works, too.

Provided by foodiewife_12461649

Categories     Punch Beverage

Time 15m

Yield 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (750 ml) bottle white wine (Spanish table wine, I used Sauvignon Blanc or White Zinfandel)
1/2 cup peach schnapps or 1/2 cup brandy
1 cup triple sec
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 ounces simple syrup, and cooled (equal parts sugar and water brought to a boil for 2 minutes in a small saucepan, leftover syrup can )
3 ounces white peach puree (peel peaches, remove pit and puree in a blender with a small amount of water) or 6 ounces peach nectar, can be used (much less work)
1 fresh peach, oranges (I also added fresh pineapple and cherries)
club soda

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a pitcher and stir to mix.
  • Refrigerate at least 8 hours or up to 48 hours.
  • To serve you can add club soda to the entire pitcher, so give the sangria a "fizz". I prefer to pour about â..." club soda in a glass filled with plenty of ice, and then pour the sangria. Serve with a slice of fresh orange, for color.
  • Very refreshing. I recommend keeping extra wine on hand, as my guests wanted more...and more. Chilling this for at least 8 hours is good, but making it at the last minute works fine... color and fruity flavor won't be as rich, if the drink isn't chilled quite long enough.

WHITE PEACH, TARRAGON AND BUBBLE SANGRIA

White Peach, Tarragon and Bubble Sangria image

Tapioca pearls add a bit of whimsy to this bubble-tea-like sangria that's flavored with honey-scented elderflower liqueur and fragrant white peaches. It's a delicate drink, perfect for an Easter brunch or spring party or to serve with grilled fish or vegetables.

Provided by Food Network Kitchen

Categories     beverage

Time 4h45m

Yield 8 servings (8 cups)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup small-pearl tapioca
One 750-milliliter bottle dry Gewurztraminer or other dry white wine
2 cups white grape juice
1 cup elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germaine
1 cup loosely packed fresh tarragon leaves, roughly chopped
2 white peaches, pitted and cut into 1/4-inch-thick wedges
Ice

Steps:

  • Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the tapioca, reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 15 minutes. Strain the tapioca in a large sieve, and rinse under cold running water until cold. Spoon the tapioca into a 3-quart pitcher.
  • Add the wine, grape juice and liqueur to the pitcher, and stir to combine. Add the tarragon and peaches, and cover the pitcher with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sangria to chill, at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
  • To serve, fill 8 glasses halfway with ice. Stir the sangria to redistribute the tapioca, then pour the sangria, fruit, and tapioca into each glass.

Provided by Ann

Time 3h30m

Number Of Ingredients 15

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
A bunch of fresh stevia leaves or 1/2 - 1 teaspoon liquid stevia
1 - 2 large peaches, pitted and chopped (no need to peel)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Several fresh basil leaves
A sprig of fresh rosemary
1 bottle white wine (Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay)
4 large peaches, pitted and chopped
1 pint of blueberries
1 pint of raspberries
3/4 cup peach brandy
1/2 cup herbal peach simple syrup (or to taste)
2 - 8.5 oz. cans of peach or clementine Izze (fizzy juice drink)
1 bottle prosecco, chilled

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the ingredients for the herbal peach syrup. Bring to a boil, stir to dissolve the sugar completely, then reduce heat to a simmer and let cook for about 10 - 15 minutes. Strain out the herbs and peaches, putting the syrup into a jar or other container. Put in the fridge or freezer until chilled (not frozen).
  • Next begin the marinade: Put the white wine, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, peach brandy and 1/2 cup of the simple syrup in a pitcher or large jar. Store in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • At serving time, pour the marinated fruit and wine into a large pitcher and add the chilled prosecco and izze. Stir gently, then taste and add more simple syrup if you want it sweeter.
