Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar.
- Add egg and beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add them alternately with applesauce.
- Stir until smooth.
- Line a 8x8x2" pan with wax paper.
- Pour batter into pan. Bake about 40 minutes or until done.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes then turn cake out onto a cooling rack. Peel off wax paper.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread apple pie filling evenly in bottom of prepared pan. Sprinkle apple pie filling with ½ teaspoon apple pie spice and mix to combine.
- Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle the remaining ½ teaspoon apple pie spice over the dry cake mix. If you are using pecans, sprinkle them evenly over the dry cake mix as well.
- Pour melted butter over top, tilting pan to cover as much of the top with butter as possible.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until light golden brown, mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8x8x2-inch square baking pan with Reynolds® Parchment Paper*.
