HONEY GARLIC SLOW COOKER CHICKEN AND POTATOES WITH GREEN BEANS



Honey Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken and Potatoes with Green Beans image

This delicious Slow Cooker Chicken and Potatoes with Green Beans is coated with a delicious honey garlic sauce. Simply add everything into the slow cooker, the easiest dinner ever!

1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp ketchup
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 pound gold potatoes, sliced in half
1/2 pound green beans, stems trimmed

Steps:

  • Make the glaze. Stir together honey, soy sauce, ketchup and garlic. Set aside.
  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  • In a slow cooker, add chicken thighs and sliced potatoes. Pour sauce on top.
  • Close lid and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Or, cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before you're ready to eat, add green beans into slow cooker.
  • Once chicken is cooked through and tender, turn off slow cooker.

4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
10 oz. red potatoes (about 2), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed, cut in half
1/2 cup KRAFT Greek Vinaigrette Dressing
1/2 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce

Steps:

  • Place chicken and vegetables in large bowl. Add dressing; toss to evenly coat chicken and vegetables with dressing. Place in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray
  • Add chicken broth; cover with lid. Cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours). Use slotted spoon to transfer chicken and vegetables to serving dish; cover to keep warm.
  • Ladle broth mixture from slow cooker into medium saucepan. Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into broth mixture. Cook on medium heat 5 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. Serve over chicken and vegetables.

2 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1/2 lb. fresh green beans (trimmed (about 2.5 cups))
1 1/4 lb. diced red potatoes (about 4 cups)
1/3 cup FRESH lemon juice (NOT BOTTLED) ((1 large or 2 small lemons))
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 garlic cloves (minced)

Steps:

  • Start by placing the chicken the middle of the slow cooker. Next, add the green beans on one side. Then for the potatoes, you will need to mound them high off to the other side.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic cloves.
  • Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken, green beans and potatoes.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 7 hours, without opening the lid during the cooking time.
  • Note- Do NOT use lemon juice out of squeeze bottle, the recipe will not turn out correct.

1/2 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
1 lb red skin potatoes (cubed)
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon Montreal chicken seasoning
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
2 cloves minced garlic (or 1 tsp minced garlic)

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, add the lemon juice, olive oil, chicken seasoning, lemon pepper, salt, pepper, onion powder, and minced garlic. Whisk together.
  • To one side of the slow cooker, pile in the diced potatoes.
  • On the other side, pile in the green beans.
  • Layer your chicken breasts in the center.
  • Pour the lemon juice mixture evenly over the chicken, potatoes, and green beans.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 7-8 hours without opening the lid.

1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 pound small red potatoes, quartered
1/2 pound medium fresh mushrooms, halved
1/2 cup thinly sliced sweet onion
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) chicken broth
2 tablespoons onion soup mix
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Sprinkle chicken with lemon-pepper.
