A friend gave me this recipe, and whenever I serve these tortilla pinwheel sandwiches, people ask me for the recipe, too! The cream cheese pinwheels can be made ahead of time and sliced just before serving, leaving you time for other last-minute party preparations. -Pat Waymire, Yellow Springs, Ohio

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 can (4-1/4 ounces) chopped ripe olives
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles, well drained
1/2 cup chopped green onions
Garlic powder to taste
Seasoned salt to taste
5 flour tortillas (10 inches)
Salsa, optional

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, cheese and sour cream until blended. Stir in olives, green chiles, green onions and seasonings., Spread over tortillas; roll up tightly. Wrap each in plastic, twisting ends to seal; refrigerate several hours., Unwrap. Cut into 1/2- to 3/4-in. slices, using a serrated knife. If desired, serve with salsa.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup red bell pepper, minced
1/2 cup celery, minced
1/4 cup green onion, sliced
1/4 cup olive, sliced (optional)
deli turkey or deli roast beef
4 (10 inch) flour tortillas

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl beat softened cream cheese and ranch dressing mix until smooth.
  • Add red pepper, celery, onions, and olives (if using), mix well.
  • Spread about 3/4 cups on each tortilla.
  • Place slices of the deli meat on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Slice into 1/2 inch pieces.

When coming up with recipes for my daughter's bridal shower, I wanted to be sure to have some meatless options for any guests who don't eat meat, so this is how I made the tortilla rollups for her shower - they were a big hit ith everyone!

1 pkg large burrito style tortillas
1 - 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
1 c sour cream
1 c grated cheddar cheese, sharp or mild, your choice
1 can(s) (small) chopped green chiles
1 pkg dry ranch dressing/dip mix
1 chopped green onion, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together except the tortillas. Divide evenly among the tortillas and spread mixture over each tortilla. Roll the tortillas up and cut into one inch slices. Refrigerate for a couple of hours and serve! You can serve these alone or with some salsa for dipping.

½ cup sour cream
4 green onions, chopped
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
14 (10 inch) flour tortillas

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, green onions, and taco seasoning in a bowl until well blended. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each tortilla. Roll each tortilla tightly to create a long tube. Spread more of the cream cheese mixture on the edges of the tortilla to seal. Freeze rolls on a baking sheet for 20 minutes for easier slicing. These are a very simple and pretty appetizer to make for any occasion! They are a great appetizer to prepare in advance.

Number Of Ingredients 7

5 large flour tortillas
3 -4 green onions, chopped--stems and all
4 ounces chopped green chilies, drained
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1/2 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
1 dash hot sauce

Steps:

  • Have tortillas at room temperature.
  • Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl and, with an electric mixer, combine all until well distributed.
  • Spread mixture fairly thinly and evenly on tortillas to within 1/8 inch of edge.
  • Roll up jelly-roll fashion and wrap each tortilla in plastic film.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • When ready to serve, slice in 3/4 inch rounds and arrange on serving plate.
  • Serve with salsa.
  • Note: tortillas will tend to dry out if rolls are unwrapped and sliced too early.
  • Cook time is chilling time.

2 packages (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese, Softened
1 package (1 Oz. Size) Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
5 whole Burrito-sized Flour Tortillas
1 whole Red Bell Pepper, Seeded And Diced Finely
1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Seeded And Diced Finely
5 whole Green Onions, Sliced Thin

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, 1/2 to 3/4 of the packet of ranch dressing mix (add the rest to taste), and black pepper with a wooden spoon until totally combined. Divide equally among the tortillas and spread into a single layer all over the surface of each tortilla.Sprinkle on the red and green bell pepper, as well as the green onion. Roll them up nice and tight, then wrap them individually in plastic wrap. Store in the fridge for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours. Before serving, slice into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices and serve on a platter. Options: Add shaved turkey, prosciutto, ham, or any meat. Add fresh herbs if you have them.

1/2 cup sweet peppers (diced)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Cover pan with parchment paper
  • Make rollups by first spreading on your sauce. Sprinkle on your cheese, and then add your toppings.
  • Sprinkle on extra cheese to hold everything together.
  • Tightly roll your tortilla. Almost sushi like!
  • Slice your roll into 1in pieces and place flat onto parchment lined baking pan.

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Place the sour cream and cream cheese in a bowl mix with an electric mixer on low until well blended. Add the green onions, chiles, and cheddar cheese. Beat just until blended. Taste and add salt and ground black pepper, as needed.

4 ounces jarred salsa (hot)
4 green onions, finely sliced
4 large flour tortillas
10 slices bacon, cut into small pieces and cooked till crisp
16 thin slices deli ham

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, salsa and onions until fully combined. Spread the tortillas with the mixture, leaving a 1/2-inch edge. Top each with bacon and ham, then roll into tight cylinders and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Remove from fridge, discard the plastic wrap and cut each roll into 1-inch pieces, discarding the uneven ends (or eating them while preparing, like I did!). Each roll should yield eight pieces. If you like, before cutting, stick toothpicks in the rolls at 1-inch intervals; it makes serving a snap.
