- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add lemon juice and eggs. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins. Roll into 1-in. balls. , Place on greased baking sheets; flatten with a floured fork. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, water and vanilla. Combine the oats, flour, orange zest, cinnamon and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in raisins (dough will be stiff)., Drop by level tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

- Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs until well blended.
- Gradually stir in dry ingredients.

- Cool on pan briefly, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly butter 2 heavy large baking sheets. Soak raisins in enough hot water to cover until soft, about 15 minutes. Drain; set aside.
- Mix flour, baking soda and slat in large bowl. Using electric mixer, beat butter and both sugars in another large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla. Add dry ingredients; mix just until blended.Stir in nuts and raisins.
- Working in batches and using palms of hands, roll dough into 3/4-inch balls. Arrange on baking sheets, spacing evenly. Bake until cookies are golden brown, about 12 minutes. Transfer baking sheets to racks; cool 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to racks; cool completely. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Store cookies in airtight container at room temperature.)

- Heat oven to 325°F.
- Combine.oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Mix. in butter with fingers or a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.Add golden raisins and apricots.
- PAT mixture firmly into a ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool in pan 30 minutes. Cut into bars and cool completely. Remove from pan with metal spatula.
- For a quick dessert. serve with vanilla ice cream or sandwich two cookies with ice cream and freeze.
- Serve frozen.
