Ingredients:
1 lb. sausage (pork or turkey)
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
2 packages crescent rolls
Dash salt & ground black pepper

Steps:

In a saute pan, brown sausage; drain. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Blend in cream cheese until the cream cheese is melted. Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on a baking sheet. With your fingers, gently press the seams together to seal them. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border along the edges. Unroll the remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of the sausage mixture. Press the edges together to seal. Gently press the seams together. Directions: Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown. Cut into small squares and serve. (A pizza cutter makes really quick and easy work of the cutting.).

This is a quick little snack that is great for breakfast or an appetizer. Sometimes for breakfast, I make them without the parmesan cheese and oregano and leave in whole pieces. We then dip them in syrup. Yum!

8 ounces crescent rolls
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 -2 teaspoon oregano leaves
8 brown and serve sausages

Steps:

Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations to seal.
Brush each with margarine.
Combine cheese and oregano; sprinkle over dough.
Cut each rectangle crosswise to form 2 squares.
Place a sausage link on each square; roll up. Cut each roll into 3 pieces; secure each with toothpick.
Place cut side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients

1 lb roll pork sausage (hot or mild)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerator crescent roll dough
green onion (optional)
finely chopped mushroom (optional)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Scramble the sausage and crumble VERY well. Drain and rinse under running water to get rid of any excess grease. Wipe any grease out of the skillet and replace sausage on heat.
Add in cream cheese and any other ingredients you might like. Stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted and the whole mixture is blended well.
Unroll the crescents into triangles and place a small amount of filling in the center of the longest end. Roll, pinching the edges to seal in the filling and place on a lightly sprayed baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minute Watch carefully, so they don't burn.

While the sausage is cooling preheat the oven to 375 F. degrees and prepare the crescent roll dough.
Cut four pieces of parchment paper that are about 12 by 16 inches long. Lay one piece of parchment paper down on the counter or a cutting board.
