Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F or prepare the grill for indirect cooking at 450 degrees F. If using a pizza stone, position it on the center rack in the oven.
- Flatten and form the pizza dough into a circle and place in an ovenproof nonstick pan. Bake or cook on the grill or put the dough directly on the grill grates over indirect heat. Cook until the dough becomes rigid and slightly golden, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Break up the bacon into small bite-size pieces into a small bowl. Mix in the marinara sauce, sambal and maple syrup.
- Add the sauce to the partially baked pizza round, then add the cheese, making a bit of a well in the center. Crack and add the eggs to the well. Place back on the grill over the indirect heat or in the oven and cook until the eggs are set, about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the grill or oven and season the yolks with fresh black pepper and a pinch of salt. Remove the pizza from the pan, slice into four pieces and serve warm.

EGG BREAKFAST PIZZA
This recipe will make two pizzas. I came up with it by accident by throwing a bunch of ingredients together. We make it on the weekends at the lake for breakfast/brunch. You can modify toppings. I usually make one sausage and one bacon. Each pizza will serve 3 to 4 people.

BAKED EGGS WITH BEANS AND GREENS
Consider this a heartier version of the classic Italian dish "eggs in purgatory," which works well for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's also very forgiving. If you'd rather keep this a vegetarian meal, skip the sausage. No chickpeas? No problem. Any white bean will work well in its place. Same with the greens. Use what you have (anything that wilts works). Sprinkling the dish with grated cheese before serving is not required, but it sure does taste good. Serve with thick slices of toasted sesame bread slathered with plenty of softened butter.

Steps:
- Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Heat the olive oil in a 12-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat. If using the sausage, add to the pan and cook, breaking it into 1/2-inch pieces, by pressing with the back of spatula or wooden spoon until crisp and cooked through, about 8 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add the chickpeas and the garlic and cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute. Season with salt. Add the sausage back to the pan along with the tomatoes and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and gradually add in the chopped greens by the handful, tossing together until wilted. Season with salt.
- Using a spoon, create hollows in the sauce and gently crack the eggs into each, and season the eggs with salt and pepper. Transfer to the oven and cook until the eggs are set, about 7 to 9 minutes. Scatter the herbs on top along with a tablespoon or two of grated cheese, if using.

Steps:
- Combine 1 cup (125g) of flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt and garlic in a large bowl.
- Add olive oil and warm water and use a wooden spoon to stir.
- Gradually add another the remaining cup of flour. Add any additional flour as needed. Stir until the dough is forming into a cohesive, elastic ball.
- Drizzle a separate, large bowl with olive oil and use your hands to brush up the sides of the bowl.
- Lightly dust your hands with flour and form your pizza dough into a round ball and transfer to your olive oil bowl. Use chopsticks to roll the pizza dough along the inside of the bowl until it is coated in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with a blanket and place it in a warm place. For example on the roof (lots of sunlight, very warm).
- Allow dough to rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size or until you can't stand to see it get any bigger (trust me it doesn't stop). preheat your oven to 425F
- Once the dough has risen, use your hands to gently deflate it (I find inhaling really close to it helps with the deflation) and transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth (about 3-5 times).
- Use either your hands or those aforementioned chopsticks to work the dough into 12" circle. Your choice. Personally I find the chopsticks to be a really soothing experience.
- Transfer dough to a parchment paper lined pizza pan and either pinch the edges or fold them over to form a crust. Or better yet make a really large fold so you can stuff them with more beans.
- Drizzle additional olive oil (eye ball it) over the top of the pizza and use your hands to rub the entire surface of the pizza (including the crust) with olive oil. DON'T FORGET TO RUB THE CRUST.
- Use your fingers to poke holes all over the center of the pizza to keep the dough from bubbling up in the oven.
- Open the baked bean can of your choice and dump that baby all over that dough. Make sure you really work and spread it evenly. Trust me, you're gonna want to taste it in every bite. Then crack your 4 eggs onto the pizza. It's ok if some shell ends up on it when you put it in the oven. It can add that extra desired crunch. Now place it in the oven for some time and then take it out and enjoy. Yummy.

Steps:
- Pour 150ml boiling water into a jug with the milk and sugar. Sprinkle in the yeast and leave to stand for 10 mins or until frothy.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour and 1 tsp salt, then make a well in the centre. Pour in the olive oil, followed by the yeast mixture. Stir well, then knead together in the bowl to form a soft dough.
- Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 10 mins. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hr.
- Peel the tomatoes by scoring the skins with a cross, putting them in a bowl and pouring over just-boiled water. Drain the water after 2-3 mins and the skins will peel away easily. Coarsely grate the tomatoes, then stir in the garlic and oregano. Blanch the spinach by drenching it in boiling water in a colander over the sink. Leave the spinach until it's cool enough to handle, then squeeze out any excess moisture.
- Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Divide your dough into 4 and shape each piece into a ball. Roll the bases out flat to about 25cm diameter and dimple the surfaces with your fingers. Spread each one with the tomato paste, season, then divide the cooked spinach between the 4 pizzas. Top with grated Parmesan and torn mozzarella.
- Slide the pizzas directly onto hot oven shelves or baking sheets. Bake 2 at a time for 5 mins, then nudge the toppings away from the centre slightly to create a gap in which to crack the eggs. Return the pizzas to the oven to finish cooking - they should take another 6-7 mins, depending on how you like your yolk.
