A perfect summertime cocktail. Because it's a combination of iced tea, lemonade, and booze, we've dubbed it the Tipsy Arnold Palmer.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

2 large tea bags for iced tea
1/2 cup boiling water
8 fresh mint sprigs
4 cups lemonade made from frozen concentrate
1/2 cup vodka
Ice cubes
8 lemon slices

Steps:

Place tea bags in medium bowl. Add 1/2 cup boiling water. Let steep 4 minutes. Discard tea bags. Place mint sprigs in large pitcher; mash with muddler or handle of wooden spoon until slightly bruised. Pour in tea, lemonade, and vodka. DO AHEAD: Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill.
Fill 8 highball glasses with ice. Divide sweet tea among glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.

6 cups boiling water
4 tea bags
3 cups sugar
3 cups lemon juice plus 1 lemon, thinly sliced
Fresh mint sprigs, for serving

Steps:

Pour the boiling water over the tea bags in a heatproof container and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
Combine the sugar with 3 cups water in a measuring cup or bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves to make a syrup.
Pour the lemon juice into a vat or large pitcher, add the syrup and tea and stir. Add the lemon slices and mint springs. Chill for an hour or so to let the flavors develop, then serve.

2 cups iced black tea (recommended: Tejava brand)
1 1/2 cups lychee syrup (can be found with the canned lychees in the Asian aisle of grocery stores)
1 cup lemonade or sparkling lemonade, store-bought
4 slices lemon or lychee, scored halfway down its center, for garnish

Steps:

Mix the black tea, lychee syrup, and lemonade in a large pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve the lemonade over ice, and garnish each glass rim with a slice of lemon and/or lychee.
