ONE-POT SWEDISH MEATBALL PASTA RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, ½ tablespoon salt, and ½ tablespoon pepper, mixing until evenly combined.
- Heat the canola oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Take about a golf-ball size of the meatball mixture and roll it into balls. Place the meatballs into the pot, cooking for one minute. Flip the meatballs.
- Add the beef broth, milk, remaining ½ tablespoon salt, remaining ½ tablespoon pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and give it a stir.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, then add the egg noodles. Stir constantly until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has reduced to a sauce that coats the noodles, about seven to eight minutes.
- Add the parmesan and the parsley, stirring until the cheese is melted.

SWEDISH MEATBALL PASTA
Swedish Meatball Pasta combines flavorful homemade pork and beef Swedish meatballs with a heavenly cream sauce and perfectly cooked pasta.

Steps:
- In a medium sized bowl combine ground pork, ground beef, panko, parsley, allspice, nutmeg, onion, garlic powder, pepper, salt and egg. Mix until combined.
- Roll into 20 small meatballs. In a large skillet heat olive oil and 1 Tablespoon butter. Add the meatballs and cook turning continuously until brown on each side and cooked throughout. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.
- Add 4 Tablespoons butter and flour to skillet and whisk until it turns brown. Slowly stir in beef broth and heavy cream. Add worchestershire sauce and dijon mustard and bring to a simmer until sauce starts to thicken. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the meatballs back to the skillet and continue to simmer over low heat.
- While the meatballs are cooking, boil a pot of salted water. Cook pasta to preferred doneness and drain. Add to the meatballs and sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve hot with additional parsley as garnish.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a medium-size bowl mix together the beef, pork, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Take a walnut size of the meat mixture and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining meat and transfer to an oiled rack on a sheet tray.
- Bake meatballs for 15 minutes, until golden brown. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a pan on medium heat and allow it to brown slightly. Stir in the flour completely and cook for about 1 minute creating a pale roux.
- Add the beef broth, stir, and cook until it thickens.
- Add in the ground allspice, nutmeg, salt, pepper, and the heavy cream, stir, and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the meatballs and coat them with the gravy.
- Sprinkle with the parsley, poke with toothpicks, and serve!

GRAMMIE MILLER'S SWEDISH MEATBALLS
My grandmother's mother and father were both off the boat from Sweden in the late 1800's. This is my grandmother's recipe from her mother, so if your looking for a REAL Swedish Meatball recipe, here it is, straight from the home land! I had this recipe many times growning up, as my mom loved to cook it for us... This is GREAT served over cooked buttered noodles, as a main dish with veggies, or over potatoes. I LOVE IT both ways!

Steps:
- Mix hamburger and bread crumbs.
- Beat egg in milk, and then add to meat mixture.
- Add onion, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and mix well. Form into 1" balls.
- Put about 1/4 cup of oil in a frying pan. Put on high to heat, then turn down to med. heat, and put in meatballs.
- Cook on all sides, browning until they are almost burned, but please don't burn them, just brown them well.
- When done take out meatballs, and put in a dish.
- To Make Gravy:.
- Put 2 cups water in the frying pan, along with the juices. Let come to a boil.
- Meanwhile, in a cup put in 3 T. cornstarch, and fill the rest with COLD water, and mix.
- Add to the frying pan juices to thicken into a gravy, adding a little at a time, until you get desired thickness.
- When gravy is on the thick side, add meatballs.
- Let cook on med. heat for 15-20 minutes.
