HOMEMADE RANCH DIP

Tangy, fresh, and filled with herbs, this is a flavorful ranch dip that's better than anything you can buy.

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 - 3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon granulated onion or onion powder
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt, adjust to taste
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1-3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice or white vinegar

Steps:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
This dip will keep nicely in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 c sour cream
1 pkg ranch dressing mix
1 can(s) rotel tomatoes, you determine the heat
4 green onions, sliced
2 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
1 Tbsp lime juice (half of a lime)

Steps:

1. Process all ingredients in the food processor for about 30 seconds or until well blended.
2. Serve with either fresh vegetables or with tortilla chips.
3. Garnish with additional cilantro, green onion and a lime slice. NOTE: For dip consistency do not drain rotel tomatoes, for thicker spread, drain tomatoes really well.

8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz sour cream
10 oz can tomatoes & green chiles, drained
3 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
2 Tbsp cilantro
1 chopped jalapeno
1 lime, juiced

1. Process all ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth.
2. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour for flavors to blend and to allow the heat to develop from the jalapeno

Ingredients

¾ cup mayonnaise
¾ cup sour cream
1½ teaspoons chili powder (start with ¾ teaspoon if you aren't a fan of too much heat)
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried dill weed
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon dried chives
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½-¾ teaspoon kosher salt (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon finely cracked pepper (adjust to taste)
freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 1-3 teaspoons, adjust to taste)

Steps:

Whisk together the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Add the spices and whisk to combine thoroughly. Add the lemon juice, taste, and adjust as needed.
Chill until ready to serve. The heat will increase a little bit overnight, so keep that in mind if you are making this ahead of time. Enjoy!

1/2 cup light mayonnaise
1 (1 ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, well drained
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (about 6 sprigs)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (from 1/2 of a lemon)

Steps:

In medium bowl, blend together sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix and tomatoes and green chiles.
Finely chop cilantro and stir into tomato mixture and squeeze the lemon juice into tomato mixture and mix well.
Refrigerate until serving time and serve cold with tostitos.
