HEALTHY BRAN MUFFIN RECIPE WITH KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine all bran cereal and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar, egg whites, vanilla and applesauce. Stir all wet ingredients well.
- In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. (Flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt.) Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients together.
- Add raisins and almonds.
- Scoop batter into prepared muffin tin.
- Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Muffins are done when a knife or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Do not overbake!

THE HEALTHIEST BANANA BRAN MUFFINS
These are no ordinary bran muffins. These are sweetened with bananas and applesauce, plus they're made with whole wheat flour, making them the healthiest banana bran muffins. They're high in fiber, low in sugar and make the perfect snack when served with nut butter, butter or jam!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease the bottom of a muffin pan or use muffin liners.
- Mix all the wet ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
- Stir all the dry ingredients together in a different bowl, then stir in the wet ingredients until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Transfer to the prepared muffin pan, making 12 muffins. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let them cool a few minutes before removing from the pan.

- In a large bowl, soak bran flakes in the milk for half an hour. Then preheat the oven to 400 F. Whisk all remaining ingredients into the bowl to form a batter. - Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
- Mix together wheat bran and buttermilk; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Beat together oil, egg, sugar and vanilla and add to buttermilk/bran mixture. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir flour mixture into buttermilk mixture, until just blended. Fold in raisins and spoon batter into prepared muffin tins.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Cool and enjoy!
