RED GRAPE SALAD
My mother-in-law shared this recipe with me 40 years ago. She served this salad at all holiday meals, and the tradition has continued in our family. Preparation is so much easier today, thanks to red grapes without seeds! Another "updated" shortcut in the preparation is miniature marshmallows...cooks from the good old days know what "sticky fun" it was to snip regular-sized marshmallows!

GREEN GRAPE SALAD
This is a wonderful dessert salad that never failed to be a hit. Made the day before the brown sugar makes the sauce taste like caramel. You can use less brown sugar, if you wish.

SUMMER SWEET GRAPE SALAD
This is a great salad or dessert, especially for a summer BBQ. I chill a large glass bowl and line with curly red and green lettuce then add the beautiful grapes. Sprinkle with a little brown sugar and pecan pieces. I am always asked for the recipe or asked to bring it to the next party. Give it a try - Great when grapes are on sale and easy to make.

GREEN GRAPE CHICKEN SALAD
Whole Foods bugged me when they seriously raised the price of this already pricey chicken salad...so I've been really working on the recipe for awhile...determined to not have to make a special trip for the best chicken salad ever! I think I'm pretty close, sub out pecans for walnuts and you'll nail it right on the head. One tip on making the chicken for chicken salad. I don't like boiled chicken-too blah. I like to cook a whole chicken in the romertoff and slough off the liquid for my chicken stock for the week, then pull off all the meat. I'll use 1/2 the meat for the chicken salad and the other 1/2 for my fabulous tortilla soup. The chicken is much tastier, cheaper, plus you have three meals in one.
