Steps:
- In a pot that will comfortably hold all ingredients, brown sausage (1 inch pieces or smaller) with chopped onion.
- The more you brown them, the better it will taste.
- Don't worry about a little bit of charring.
- Toss in peeled, cut potatoes and cook slightly to coat potatoes with juices.
- Add enough water to not quite cover potatoes.
- Salt lightly.
- Cook until potatoes fall apart with fork and the liquid has thickened, stirring occasionally.

- Place potatoes and water in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave, covered, on high until potatoes are tender, 3-4 minutes; drain., Meanwhile, mix brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, thyme and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute onion and kielbasa until onion is tender., Add potatoes; cook and stir until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes. Stir in brown sugar mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in spinach until wilted. Stir in bacon.

- Heat the butter in a large skillet with a lid over medium heat; cook and stir the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the water, potatoes, carrots, beef bouillon granules, sugar, and caraway seeds; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook until the potatoes and carrots are tender, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.
- Place the sauerkraut on top of the vegetables in a layer, and place the sausages onto the sauerkraut. Cover, and cook until the sausages are heated through, about 15 minutes.
- Whisk the flour into the sour cream in a bowl, and stir into the sauerkraut mixture. Bring to a simmer to thicken the sour cream, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

- Start by cleaning your vegetables. Cut the cabbage and onion into six lengthwise slices. Cut potatoes crosswise into two pieces.
- In a large pot layer your ingredients in this order: cabbage, potato and onion.
- Pour chicken broth over the top of ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- The final step is to add the polish sausage on top of the ingredients. Cover and cook over med. heat until desire tenderness.
- Stir the ingredients so that you do not break the cabbage apart too much. So just be careful in stirring.

- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onions and potatoes for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. POLISH SAUSAGE AND POTATOES

- Preheat oven to 360°F. Spray bottom of 8x11 glass baking dish. Peel and slice potatoes as if to fry. Place sliced potatoes in bowl. Sprinkle Tony's Cajun seasoning all over potatoes; make sure to put all through potatoes. Set aside.
- Slice Polish sausage in thin to medium slices. Place polish sausage in bottom of glass baking dish in an even layer. Then place potatoes over sausage. Do not mix together. Put tablespoons of butter on top of potatoes in sections. Cover with foil.
- Place in oven, and cook for about 1 hour, or until potatoes are soft and well done. Serve and enjoy.

I came up with this recipe by combining what sounded good to me from other recipies. I was trying to come up with another way to use polish sausage. It is terrific. The beans can easily be left out if you prefer.

Steps:
- In a heavy fry pan with a lid heat oil on med/high and add onion, sausage and potato as you are doing your cutting.
- Add the sugar, applesauce, mustard, vineger, thyme and pepper to your taste.
- Stir and cover. Stir again about every 5 minutes until potatos are tender about 25 minutes.
- Remove cover and cook and stir at 5 minute intervals until desired amount of browning occurs.
