Steps:
- Combine all ingredients (except pasta) in a serving bowl large enough to hold the cooked pasta and sauce. Stir gently to combine. Set aside at room temperature for at least two hours.
- Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and add to the tomato mixture. Toss gently to distribute sauce. Serve immediately.

We make this all the time when we just need to throw together something quick. It is very satisfying with a dinner salad and a nice glass of wine. It is really important that you use fresh, tasty cherry tomatoes.

Steps:
- Cook pasta according to directions on package.
- While the pasta is cooking, saute the garlic and the red pepper flakes in olive oil over medium heat.
- Don't let the garlic get brown.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the heat and add the cherry tomatoes to the pan.
- When pasta is done cooking and has been drained, add in the tomato mixture, add in basil and mix well.
- Add salt& pepper as you like, and serve topped with parmesan.

Merrill Stubbs' mother made this pasta, originally from the Silver Palate Cookbook, every summer while growing up. It was only recently that she rediscovered how wonderful the combination is. Forget your preconceived notions of Brie and try this out before summer is over!

- Put the Brie in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up a little. This will make it easier to cut when the time comes. Roughly chop the tomatoes and put them in a large serving bowl. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the bowl. Chiffonade or roughly chop the basil and add that to the bowl too. Pour in the olive oil and add generous amount of salt and pepper. Gently stir everything together. Once the Brie is firm enough, cut it into 1/2-inch cubes and add these to the bowl. Gently fold to combine the cheese with the rest of the ingredients. Cover the bowl and let it sit at room temperature for at least 2, and up to 8 hours -- the longer the better. When you are ready to eat, bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until just al dente. Strain the pasta and tip it into the bowl with the sauce. Fold everything together until it is well combined, the Brie has begun to melt, and the pasta is slicked with cheese and tomato goodness. Serve immediately with a tossed green salad.

Steps:
- Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet *off heat*, place cheese cubes, tomatoes, olives, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Still off heat, stir to separate cheese pieces. Mix in chopped basil.
- Add hot pasta and 1/4 cup reserved pasta liquid to skillet with cheese mixture.
- Place over medium heat and toss until cheese is partially melted and sauce coats pasta, adding more reserved pasta liquid by tablespoonfuls if dry, about 4-5 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt (if needed) and serve.
