Steps:
- In a large skillet or dutch oven combine ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is no longer pink. Remove beef and onion from the pan and set aside. Add carrots, green pepper, and celery to the beef juices and cook until they just start to soften. Don't overcook.
- Drain meat juices from the pan if necessary. Add all remaining ingredients back into the pan except for the parmesan and cooked pasta. Stir to combine and let cook until extra juices cook down. Add the cooked pasta and stir in the parmesan. Add salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve in bowls and top with additional parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

- Prepare meat, if using, drain well.
- While cooking the meat, boil the Klusky noodles per package instructions, drain.
- Sauce:Combine the tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes in a blender and mix until as smooth as you like. Add the sugar to taste and blend until well mixed.
- In a large serving bowl, combine noodles, sauce, meat, and mushrooms (if using). Stir well.
- Hock Family Suggestion:Serve with garlic bread, a salad, and greenbeans. Enjoy!

This is a wonderful and simple recipe from my German Mother. I usually make this soup a day before serving since it tastes better the day after making it.

- Season beef with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Brown seasoned beef and onion in oil until all sides are brown. Cover with water and simmer for 3 to 4 hours or until tender. Add water whenever level goes below the ingredients.
- An hour before serving, add potatoes and chili.

- In a large pot brown hamburger with onion.
- In a separate pot cook noodles.
- Drain excess fat from hamburger.
- Add mushrooms, celery, tomatoes, catchup, salt and pepper to hamburger.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles.
- Simmer additional 10-15 minutes.
- Top with sprinkle Parmesan cheese if desired.

MAMA'S GOULASH
When my Mama would make this we would all come running to the supper table. It is just a fantastic one skillet meal that everyone loves.

- 1. In a large, deep sided skillet brown the ground beef and the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off the grease and lower the heat to medium. Add in the onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes.
- 2. Stir in the worcestershire, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with juice and seasonings. Add the broth, water and uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir to combine, cover and cook till noodles are tender, about 7-8 minutes. Turn off the heat, uncover and top with the cheese. Cover back up and let it sit till the cheese is nice and melted.

- Drain fat if needed (if you're not sure, you can also only cook the macaroni part way so that while simmering the uncooked pasta will soak up excess moisture when added to the mixture).
- Add remaining ingredients and heat well.
- Add macaroni and heat through.
