- In a bowl, combine first six ingredients. Mix in beef. Divide into six portions. Shape each portion around a cheese stick and form into a loaf. Set aside. , In a large skillet, combine all sauce ingredients. Add loaves and spoon sauce over each. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer; cook until a thermometer reads 160°, about 20 minutes.

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk and butter. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the cheese, bacon and apple., Transfer to two greased 5-3/4x3x2-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

- Heat oven to 350°F In large bowl, stir bread crumbs and 1 cup of the cooking sauce until well mixed; let stand 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut twelve 1/2-inch pieces from cheese sticks (store remaining portion of cheese stick for another use). *Regular mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, can be substituted. Set aside. Add beef, egg, green onions, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper to bread crumb mixture until well mixed.
- Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray. Divide beef mixture evenly among cups (cups will be very full). Push 1 piece of cheese into center of each loaf. Place muffin pan on cookie sheet to catch any spillover. Bake about 30 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of loaves in middle of muffin pan reads 160°F (outer loaves will be done sooner).
- Meanwhile, heat remaining sauce until hot. Immediately remove loaves from muffin pan; spoon heated sauce over loaves.

- In a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup flour, sugar, yeast, garlic salt, Italian seasoning and parsley. In a saucepan, heat milk, water and 1 tablespoon butter to 120°-130°. Add to dry ingredients; beat just until moistened. Add egg; beat until smooth. Stir in 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and enough remaining flour to form a soft dough; beat until smooth. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes., Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into thirds; shape into loaves. I saw this recipe on a TV show on Amish cooking in the 1980s, and I've adapted it to suit our tastes. The Swiss cheese and bacon make it very satisfying on cold fall and winter evenings.

CHEESY MINI-MEATLOAVES
This is a nice twist on the normal meatloaf recipes.. 8 mini meatloaves with a yummy sauce!! I have made this several times and recently added fresh mushrooms to meat mixture before shaping into loaves and it was fantastic... endless possibilities!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat egg and milk together.
- Add cheese, oats, onion, salt, & pepper to milk/egg mixture.
- Mix in ground beef with your hands until all ingredients are incorporated well.
- Shape into 8 loaves and place into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Mix all sauce ingredients together and spoon over loaves.
- You may want to make extra sauce for after its done cooking!
- Place in 350 degree oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels and let cool; crumble.
- Place bacon, stuffing, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire, soy sauce, egg, onion soup mix, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. Divide meat mixture into 6 individual portions. Mold each portion into oval-like shapes. Press top of each oval in and add Swiss cheese. Mold meat back up over the tops, enclosing cheese.
- Mix ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar together in a separate bowl. Cover each loaf with mixture. Place loaves in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
- While loaves bake, saute onion over medium-high heat in a frying pan, 5 to 7 minutes. Top baked loaves with onions and let stand for 5 minutes to cool before serving.
