1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple flavored extract

Steps:

Bring the water, white sugar, and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir in the maple extract; simmer 3 minutes longer.

3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 tablespoon molasses
1 teaspoon molasses
1 cup water
1 teaspoon maple flavoring

Steps:

Bring sugars, corn syrup, molasses and water to a boil, stirring constantly.
Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add maple flavouring and stir until dissolved.
