Hersheys Hidden Kisses Chocolate Chip Cookies Food

HERSHEY'S HIDDEN KISSES CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
• 2. Stir together cookie mix and flour; add butter and egg. Stir until dough forms. Set aside 1/4 cup small chocolate chips. Stir remaining chips into dough. (Dough is stiff; chips may need to be worked in with hands.)
• 3. Mold a tablespoon dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
• 4. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until cookie is set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
• 5. Place remaining 1/4 cup chips and shortening in heavy-duty resealable plastic food storage bag. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 30 seconds; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds at a time, kneading after each heating, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Cut off corner of bag about 1/8 inch from point. Drizzle over cookies.

COOKIE KISSES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Cut dough into 9 slices; cut each slice into 4 pieces.
• Form each piece of dough into a ball.
• Place a ball of dough into each cup of a MINI muffin tin.
• Push a chocolate kiss into each ball of dough.
• Bake 10-12 minutes.
• Let cookies cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.

• Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces.
• Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add flour to butter mixture; blend until smooth. Stir in small chocolate chips. Mold scant tablespoon dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
• Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Prepare CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE, if desired. Drizzle over each cookie.

• CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE: Place 1/4 cup HERSHEY'S MINI CHIPS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and 1 teaspoon shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 30 seconds; stir. If necessary, microwave at HIGH an additional 20 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.
