This marinated pork tenderloin recipe is simple to make, quick to cook (grill or stovetop), tantalizingly juicy and will whisk your taste buds away to the tropics! It's ideal for an easy prep-ahead dinner or stress-free entertaining because the marinade literally does all the work, leaving you with melt-in-your-mouth pork and hardly any cleanup! The pork tenderloin is marinated in an intensely flavorful mixture of pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, Asian sweet chili sauce, ketchup, ginger and garlic, then grilled to succulent, juicy perfection complete with a smoky, caramelized charred crust. Your family will love this marinated pork tenderloin with coconut rice, grilled corn on the cob and pina colada fruit salad for the ultimate tropical feast.

Steps:
- Whisk the marinade ingredients together in a resealable freezer bag. Remove 1/3 cup to use as a sauce after cooking. Add pork tenderloins, remove excess air, seal and turn to coat. Marinate 4-12 hours in the refrigerator; refrigerate the sauce separately.
EASY PORK WITH HOISIN SAUCE
Steps:
- Trim excess fat and silverskin from tenderloin. Cut into 1-inch pieces, pat with paper towels, rub with some sesame oil, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Place a medium skillet over medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon sesame oil. When oil shimmers, add pork and cook until browned and cooked partially, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Remove pork to a plate, return skillet to stove, and add garlic. When garlic is fragrant, add green beans and stir occasionally until browned, about 3 minutes. Add sherry and hoisin, stir to combine, and cook until beans are tender and sauce is reduced slightly and sherry smell is cooked off, about 4 minutes. Return pork to pot, turn to coat in sauce, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, if using, and serve over rice.
GRILLED HOISIN BEEF
The (underrated) hoisin sauce is a thickened, fermented soy-sauce-like substance, flavored with chilies, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and, of course, exotic spices. It makes a great marinade. And unless you horribly overcook it, this skirt steak is juicy and tender.

Steps:
- Whisk hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, hot sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic, brown sugar, salt, and pepper together in a large mixing bowl.
- Cut skirt steak crosswise into about 4 or 5 smaller pieces. Transfer steak into marinade and toss until all pieces are evenly coated. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate; marinate at least 2 hours and up to 12 hours.
- Line a baking pan with paper towels. Transfer pieces of steak to the paper towels and mop off some of the marinade.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Transfer steak pieces to grill. Cook to medium rare or medium, 4 to 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read between 130 and 135 degrees F (about 54 degrees C). Thinner pieces might finish earlier. Transfer steak to a warm plate. Let rest for a few minutes.
- Transfer steak to a warm serving platter and pour any accumulated juices over skirt steak. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

HAWAIIAN HOISIN MARINADE AND SAUCE FOR MEATS
This great marinade and sauce was part of a ribs recipe, but a reviewer wisely pointed out that it was too good to use just on ribs and that I should re-post with a more general title. It is great on chicken, pork, beef, lamb - you name it!

ALL PURPOSE HAWAIIAN MARINADE
I originally concocted this recipe for a party I hostessed. I used it on chicken thighs and legs, but since then, I've tried it beef and pork, as well. I also think it would be awesome on tuna steaks or shrimp! I've also used Pineapple Coconut Juice and it's EXCELLENT. Enough for 3 lbs meat of choice.

SPICY HOISIN MARINADE FOR CHICKEN
Plan ahead the chicken needs to marinate for a minimum or 6 hours. There is enough marinade for about 8-10 pieces of chicken or less, but it can be doubled. This is a wonderful marinade for chicken!
