Time 29m

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 bone-in (thick center cut or rib chop pork chops)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Combine all of the rub ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

  • Rub the pork chops all over with the olive oil, then sprinkle generously with the sweet bbq rub, massaging it into the meat.
  • Place the pork chops on the grill over direct heat and sear for 2-3 minutes, then flip and sear the other side for 2-3 minutes.
  • Move the pork chops to the indirect heat side of the grill and cook for another 5-6 minutes per side until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F when measured with an instant read meat thermometer.
  • Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.

GRILLED PORK CHOPS WITH HERB RUB

Grilled Pork Chops With Herb Rub image

Brining pork chops is undoubtedly the best way to prepare them. After I did it once, I will no longer prepare them any other way. They are juicy and delicious and far better than any I've ever had before.

Time 4h15m

GRILLED PORK CHOPS WITH SMOKED PAPRIKA RUB

Grilled Pork Chops with Smoked Paprika Rub image

A lot of purchased barbecue sauces are really high in sugar. If you need to watch the amount of sugar in your diet, try grilling pork chops with this flavorful rub, instead. The rub goes on in advance so the flavors can penetrate the chops.

Time 8h45m

Yield 6

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 (5 ounce) boneless pork loin chops, cut 1-inch thick
avocado cooking oil spray

1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Combine smoked paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic, and cayenne in a small bowl.

SOUTHERN SWEET GRILLED PORK CHOPS

Southern Sweet Grilled Pork Chops image

This was created after lots of thinking on how to tease the taste buds between hot and sweet. These, paired with grilled asparagus and a good red wine, make for an awesome meal that will have your taste buds screaming for more. When cooked right, the seasoning mixture will practically caramelize over the chops. This helps seal in the juices and gives delicious flavor. Hope you guys enjoy.
