HAMBURGER GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
This Green Bean Casserole is made with ground beef so you can enjoy it as a main dish.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground meat in a skillet over medium heat. Season meat with salt and pepper. Stir occassionally to break up the meat. When the meat is no longer brown add the can of drained mushrooms to the skillet.
- Add green beans, 1/2 onion rings, mushroom soup, and mix. Put into a casserole dish top with remaining onion rings. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes
- I have also made this green bean casserole with frozen green beans with good results. There is also a mix of frozen vegetables called Oriental mix that contains, mushrooms, onions, and broccoli that this casserole works well with too. Use you imagination on this one!

MOM'S HAMBURGER AND GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
This recipe was passed down from my grandmother, to my mother and now I make it frequently. It's a big hit with hubby. It is also another one of those recipes that show how they stretched a pound of hamburger to feed a family. A salad goes along nicely with this.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Brown the ground beef. Drain.
- Empty tomato soup into a casserole dish. (I use an oval pyrex 11X81/2X3).
- Pour 1/2 of can of green bean juice into soup. Drain rest of green beans and add to dish.
- Add dehydrated onion, salt, and pepper.
- Mix.
- Add drained ground beef into soup mixture. Mix well.
- Beat egg and add to mashed potatoes. Mix well.
- Top meat mixture with mashed potatoes.
- Don't cover green bean mixture completely, leave a little area all around to allow mixture to bubble and not bubble over.
- Try to make peaks with the potatoes for and extra special look.
- Bake 30-45 minutes or until potatoes are browned.

- Cook hamburger drain and set aside until cool. Mix together soup and milk then add beans and hambergur 1 cup of chedder cheese 2/3 cup onions season salt and pepper to tast top with mashed potatoes and cheese bake for 30 min in a 350 oven then add remainder of fried onions and bake an additional 5 min.

- Wash and trim green beans. Cook in a large skillet with the broth or water over medium heat till crisp tender. Remove from the skillet and discard any water left in the pan.
- Add the hamburger to the skillet and cook till completely browned. Add garlic and cook another minute.
- Add cream cheese and stir till melted. Stir in the cream, salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Add the beans to the skillet and heat through.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Turn heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

JEFF'S GREEN BEAN AND BEEF CRESCENT ROLL CASSEROLE
My husband's friend, Jeff, described this ground beef and crescent roll recipe to us over the phone and we just had to try it. He sent us his recipe and we tweaked it a bit to suit our tastes. It's an easy one-dish meal that's made complete with a simple salad. Our favorite part of the original recipe that we received was the last line that said "eat the whole dish and take a nap!"

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.
- Stir tomatoes, green beans, black olives, and red pepper flakes into the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 to 30 minutes. Drain off most of the liquid. Stir in sour cream.
- Line the bottom of a baking dish with 1 can of crescent rolls. Brush beaten egg on top. Sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar cheese over the dough. Stir remaining Cheddar cheese into the meat and vegetable mixture. Pour into the baking dish. Top with the remaining crescent rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and brown, 30 to 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

- Crumble the pork sausage into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain grease, and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic, and pepper. Mix in the sausage, then add the green beans, and stir until evenly coated. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the fried onions. Spread remaining green bean mixture over the onions.
- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle the rest of the fried onions over the top. Return to the oven for 5 to 10 more minutes, or until the onions are toasty, and green beans are cooked to your desired doneness. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
