Ingredients

1 1/2 cups margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
4 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
4 to 5 cups flour
granulated sugar

Steps:

Cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs and molasses, and beat until fluffy. Add baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt. Add flour until batter is thick and soft, not stiff. Roll into balls, and then roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup grandma's molasses
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup hot water

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In medium bowl, blend butter with sugar, add molasses and eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with water to molasses mixture. Bake in greased 9 inch square pan about 50 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 cup margarine, room temp
2 cups peanut butter
3 cups Rice Krispies
8 ounces Plain Hershey Bar
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 teaspoon paraffin wax

Steps:

Mix together sugar, margarine, peanut butter, and rice krispies together and form into balls. (As large/small as you want them. I make them smaller than a golf ball.).
In a double boiler, melt the chocolate bar and chips together and add paraffin wax, may add more wax if needed.
Once chocolate is melted, dip the balls in chocolate and place on wax paper to cool.
After the balls settle, store them away. We keep them in the refrigerator or freezer during the holidays.
