Another recipe from my grandma. I still remember making this with her as a little girl. Rich and creamy!

Steps:
- Put first three ingredients in a sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil, while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add chips.
- With a wire whip beat until creamy and cooled.
- Add chopped pecans if desired.

My husband's maternal grandmother's famous chocolate frosting. Best used with Chocolate Layer Cake. I can't answer any questions about this recipe or how to make it as I've never made it before. I'm just putting it out there for posterity's sake.

- Mix cocoa, butter, milk, and sugar in sauce double boiler over medium heat. Let come to a rolling boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Beat until spreadable.
- Add 1 ts vanilla.

Steps:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with 1/3 cup water and the cocoa, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat, and let cool.
- Add confectioners' sugar, salt and vanilla, and stir until smooth. Stir in egg yolks until smooth, and then chocolate. Use immediately.
