GRAHAM CRACKER JELL-O DESSERT
This is in request to 1970's jell-o recipes. My mother used to make this, and we just loved it with black cherry jell-o -- still do! (Prep time does not include chilling time.)

Steps:
- Prepare Jell-O as directed.
- Let Jell-O partially set, just enough to be able to spread.
- Cover bottom of 8 inch square dish with whole graham crackers.
- Mix sugar and sour cream until blended.
- Put half of sour cream mixture over graham crackers.
- Next spread partially set Jell-O over sour cream mixture.
- Place in refrigerator and let set until firm.
- Spread rest of sour cream mixture on top of Jell-O.
- Crush graham crackers and sprinkle on top.
- Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Cut into squares.

PEACHY GOOD JELLO DESSERT
A combination of cream cheese and whipped topping on a graham cracker crust topped off with peach slices and peach jello makes for a wonderful make ahead dessert. Allow time in the refrigerator to set.

Steps:
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter and press into a 9x13 baking dish.
- Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth and gradually add milk.
- Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crust.
- Cut peach slices in half lengthwise and arrange over the top.
- In separate bowl, combine jello with boiling water, then stir in cold water.
- Refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thickened.
- Gently spoon jello mixture over peaches and refrigerate until set.

- Mix crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter in 13x9-inch pan; press onto bottom of pan.
- Beat cream cheese, remaining sugar and milk in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Add 1 cup COOL WHIP; mix well. Carefully spread over crust. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Meanwhile, add boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 30 min. or until slightly thickened.
- Add 1-1/2 cups berries to gelatin; stir. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Top with remaining COOL WHIP and berries just before serving.

- In a small bowl, combine cracker crumbs and butter; set aside 1 tablespoon for topping. Press the remaining crumb mixture into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 325° for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack., In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries and lemon juice. Refrigerate until partially set, about 1-1/2 hours., In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Spread half over cooled crust. Cover and refrigerate remaining cream mixture. , Pour gelatin mixture over filling; refrigerate until firm. Top with remaining cream mixture. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Garnish with fresh berries and mint if desired.

Almost sure this comes from Taste of Home, I just had it jotted on a piece of paper. Posting as a request. Time to make was just a guess as I didn't have that written down. For cooking time I put one day as this has to be refrigerated overnight.

- In small bowl combine cracker crumbs& butter, set aside 1 tbsp.
- for topping.
- Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of greased 8 inch square baking dish.
- Bake at 325 for 10-14 mins.
- or until golden.

Layers of of graham crackers, mascarpone cheese, and fresh strawberries topped with jello and whipped cream. This no bake dessert looks as good as it tastes. Created for RSC #12.

Steps:
- Spread graham cracker crumbs on the bottom of an 8" round trifle.
- dish or glass bowl.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and jam.
- Gently spread cheese mixture on top of graham cracker layer (it will be a thin layer).
- Mix strawberries with 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Spread strawberries on top of cheese layer.
- Pour jello mix and water in a small saucepan, heat to a full boil (stirring as needed).
- Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Pour jello over the strawberry layer (I put a metal spoon in the bowl just to make sure it wasn't too hot for the glass).
- Refrigerate overnight or until firm.
- Top with whipped cream.

Very old recipe using marshmallows, stawberries, whipped cream, Jell-O, and graham cracker crumbs. I am sure you could make this with marshmallow fluff and Cool whip if you wanted.

- Dissolve jello in boiling water.
- Stir in strawberries.
- Chill mixture until thickened.
- In a double boiler, mix marshmallows and milk; melt marshmallows; and cool.
- (if you use fluff,dont add milk ,just mic it a second to warm it a little).
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Pour over graham cracker crumbs that you have put in a buttered 9x13 casserole dish; chill.(mix butter in crumbs).
- When Jell-O is thickened, pour over marshmallow mixture.
- Chill 12 hours until completely set.

- Beat pudding mix and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, cover bottom of 8-inch square pan with graham squares, overlapping as needed to form even layer.
- Stir COOL WHIP into pudding; spread half over graham squares in pan. Cover with 10 of the remaining graham squares. Repeat layers of pudding mixture and graham squares.
- Refrigerate 3 hours. Spread with BAKER'S ONE BOWL Chocolate Frosting.
