1 Tbsp minced garlic
2 cup BBQ Sauce

Steps:

  • Place the roast in the slow cooker.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and worcerstershire sauce.
  • Top with half the bbq sauce and beef broth.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  • Shred and stir to combine.
  • Stir in the other 1 cup bbq sauce.
  • Serve on your favorite buns or Hawaiian rolls and enjoy!

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • Cut roast in half and place in a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, liquid smoke if desired and seasonings. 4 -5 lbs beef chuck roast
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1 onion, sliced
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (I like KC Masterpiece or Cattlemans for this)

Steps:

  • Season roast with garlic salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients but the BBQ sauce.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 9 to 11 hours, until beef is very tender.
  • Shred meat with a fork after cooking and retain 1 cup of the juice from cooking.

olive oil (for browning)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Mix together all of the rub spices and rub all over the beef.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan on medium high heat and brown meat, approx 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • Mix all bbq sauce ingredients in the slow cooker until combined.
  • Move beef into slow cooker and cover with sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • Using two forks, shred the beef in the slow cooker and make sure the sauce is covering each piece.
  • Cover and heat on low for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  • Switch to warm and uncover. The sauce will thicken as it sits. Serve sauce on the side or put it in a jar and refrigerate for later.
