HOMEMADE FEBREZE

HOMEMADE FEBREZE image

I saw this on FB and decided to give it a whirl since I detest the smell of Febreze. This really smells good and works like a charm and I wanted to share it with you.

HOMEMADE FREBEZE: 4 DIY RECIPES FOR FRUGAL FRESHNESS

From retailmenot.com
Estimated Reading Time 4 mins
  • Made With White Vinegar. White vinegar is a common ingredient in cleaning recipes because it’s a green way to battle smells related to things like pets, smoke or even toilet bowls.
  • Made With Baking Soda. Baking soda is a classic go-to when it comes to homemade cleaning products. It’s inexpensive, easy to find and incredibly effective at neutralizing unpleasant odors caused by sweaty gym socks, wet dogs and tiny bits of food.
  • Made With Rubbing Alcohol. Rubbing alcohol is also a great odor killer, which is why this recipe is so popular among anyone dealing with tough, persistent smells that are stuck deep within furniture, flooring and even vehicles.
  • Made With Essential Oils. We love essential oils, and this recipe is perfect because you can customize the scent with your favorite, be it lavender, lemongrass or sweet orange.

6 (QUICK, EASY, & CHEAP) HOMEMADE FEBREZE RECIPES

From ecopeanut.com
  • Homemade Febreze with Downy Unstopables and Rubbing Alcohol. While this does mean you’ll need to take a quick trip to the store, it also means you have some options for the fragrance.
  • Homemade Febreze with Fabric Softener. Here we find another option that helps stretch those grocery budgets, while still giving you that “Febreze feel.”
  • Homemade Febreze with Baking Soda. Now we come to one of the mainstays of odor control (and cleaning in general), historically speaking. It has been an odor-regulating agent for a long time.
  • Homemade Febreze with Vinegar. Next, we have baking soda’s “other half” – the vinegar. These two can do more than just create some wicked science experiments (balloon on top of a soda bottle, anyone?).
  • Homemade Febreze with Essential Oils. Now we get to one of the recipes that is all the rage. It’s no secret that essential oils have taken the crunchy, environmentally-conscious world by storm.
  • Homemade Febreze with Alcohol. Our last recipe is one that makes homemade Febreze with rubbing alcohol. Much like the baking soda and vinegar combos, alcohol has been viewed as a cleaning and sterilizing agent pretty much forever.
