3/4 lb lean ground beef
3/4 lb ground lean pork
1 large egg
1 teaspoon butter
1 cup Progresso Italian-style fine bread crumbs
1/4 cup minced parsley
1/4 cup minced onion
1/8 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce
1 (12 ounce) bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Mix together everything from beef to garlic-except butter.
  • Form into walnut size meatballs.
  • Heat butter in skillet to medium and fry meatballs until done.
  • Add to sauce and keep warm in a crockpot.
  • Sauce: Mix the three ingredients well, while stirring and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and pour into a crockpot.
  • Keep on low.

2 lbs ground round
1 cup corn flake crumbs
1/3 cup dried parsley flakes
2 eggs
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons minced dried onion
1 (1 lb) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce, i use heinz
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine meat ball ingredients blend well.
  • Form meatballs the size of walnuts.
  • Arrange in a single layer in baking dish.
  • Set aside Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat until smooth, stir frequently.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Serve in a chafing dish, provide toothpicks.
  • CROCK POT VERSION: Cook meatballs in 350F oven for 15-20 minutes with out the sauce.
  • Drain.
  • Place in crock pot, pour on the sauce.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • I serve the meatballs and sauce over cooked egg noodles.

2 eggs
1 cup corn flake crumbs
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon parsley
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon nu salt salt substitute
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 lbs ground venison
1/2 lb ground pork
1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • in a mixing ball combine the first eight ingridients. add meat and mix well.
  • Shape into 1 inch balls.
  • bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
  • remove from the oven and drain on paper towels.
  • In a large saucepan combine the last four ingriedients cook stirring frequently
  • add the meatballs and heat through.
  • Stick a tooth pick in each ball and place them on a platter.

This is my mother-inlaws meatballs. We have them at every family gathering and my husband begs for them at home for a special treat, and will even call his mom just to make sure she is making them before we go over to their house! I hope you enjoy this simple but yummy concoction!

1 (14 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce (we like Hines best)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
50 -60 meatballs (1 bag frozen or your own blend. )

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan or microwave slowly melt the cranberry sauce until it is very smooth. (Microwave normally takes about 2 min on %50 stirring every 45 seconds)
  • Mix in chile sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice and stir until well blended.
  • Mix with your meatballs and place in Crockpot on low for about 2hours.

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well.
  • Make meatballs small, place in a roasting pan or 13X9 casserole dish.

  • Combine sauce ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Bake at 350, uncovered for 2 hours.
  • When I make these ahead of time, I reheat in a crockpot on high for 4 hours, but make extra sauce to keep them moist and delicious.

1 cup milk
1 lb jellied cranberry sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
12 ounces chili sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl combine all the meatball ingredients. Divide the meat into 4 sections and make 15 meatballs from each section.
  • Place in a large, greased casserole dish.
  • Combine all the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
