Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 lbs ground beef
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (15 ounce) tomato puree
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon flavor enhancer, such as Ac'cent
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add Add beef; cook, breaking up meat with a spoon, until no longer pink, about 9 to 12 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 12 to 15 minutes.
