Coca Cola Roast In A Crock Pot Food

CROCK POT COCA-COLA ROAST

Steps:

• Use the size roast and the amount of vegetables you need to feed your family.
• I usually buy a big roast and add lots of the veggies.
• Put roast in a crock-pot,sprinkle with onion soup mix.
• Add coke to almost cover the roast.
• Add carrots to liquid around roast and all other vegetables to top of meat.
• Cook all day on low (8-10 hours),or on high 5-6 hours.
• Liquid makes a great gravy.

COCA COLA POT ROAST (CROCK POT)

Steps:

• Brown meat in the vegetable oil for 10 minutes on each side. Remove to crockpot. Drain off fat.
• Break up tomatoes in juice and add remaining ingredients.
• Cover and simmer for 6 - 8 hours.

COCA COLA ROAST IN THE CROCK POT

Steps:

• Place the roast in a slow cooker.
• Mix cola and ketchup together.
• Pour over roast.
• Cover.
• Cook on low for 8 hours.

COCA-COLA PORK ROAST

Steps:

• Rub the roast with salt and pepper then place it in the crockpot.
• Add soup mix and coke.
• Cook on low 8 hours or high for 4.
• Before serving dump liquid from crockpot into a pot.
• Skim fat.
• To the remaining juices add salt and pepper to taste and a dash of Kitchen Bouquet.
• Bring mixture to a boil.
• Remove a cup of the liquid and add corn starch to thicken.
• Add corn starch mixture to the rest of the juices.
• Cook until it reaches desired consistency.
• WONDERFUL GRAVY!

SARASOTA'S 7-BONE CROCKPOT COCA-COLA POT ROAST

Steps:

• Roast -- This to me is an important step. Season the meat well with a mix of the flour, salt and pepper. Rub it in well on all sides of the meat. Then in a large pan add the oil and heat to medium high. Sear the meat on all sides until you get a nice crust and it begins to brown. Just a minute per side is all you need. This really helps the flavor in this dish. Then add your meat to the crock pot.
• Crockpot -- Add all the vegetables around your roast. I like to put the carrots, parsnips towards the bottom, then the potatoes and mushrooms, and last, add the onions over the top of the roast.
• Sauce -- Mix everything together in a small bowl and pour over the meat and vegetables. Turn your crockpot on low and cook 6-8 hours. Mine was tender in 6, but it really depends on whether you have a round or oval pot, and the newer models tend to cook a bit hotter. So, you know your crockpot best. Before serving, check if you want to add any additional pepper and add in the fresh parsley.
• Serve -- Remove the roast and vegetables and make sure to let the roast set 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the gravy on the side. ENJOY!

COCA-COLA ROAST

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees (if using oven).
• Place the roast in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker or Dutch oven and add the carrots and potatoes.
• Pour the soup and Coke over all.
• If using a slow cooker, cover and seal the pot and cook the roast until tender, 8 hours on LOW, 4 hours on HIGH.
• If using a Dutch oven, cover the pot and bake until the roast is tender, 2 ½ hours.
• To serve, place the roast and veggies on a serving platter, slice, and serve with the gravy alongside.

CROCK POT COLA BARBECUE PORK ROAST

Steps:

• Cut all visible fat from roast, put in crock and cook 12 hrs (You could set this to cook all night) on low.
• Note: I pour a soda over the roast to give it a little extra flavor.
• Remove meat from crock and drain all juice from crock.
• Shred meat and return to crock add 1 bottle barbecue sauce and cola and cook 5-6 hrs more.
• MAKES A LOT!
