STICKY HONEY SESAME CHICKEN WINGS
Sticky Honey Sesame Chicken Wings are so popular at parties, gatherings, or even at home with the family, and cause severe finger-licking-after-every-bite. Not classy; but who cares when every else is doing the same thing? Right? Weight Watchers: 6pp per chicken wing (1x drumette and 1x wingette)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to grill/broil settings on high heat (or 200c | 400f).
- Wash and rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Cut the skin off of the wing drumettes, and leave it on for the wingettes (if you want to cut out the extra fat).
- In a large shallow dish, whisk together the soy sauce, Kecap Manis, honey, sesame oil and garlic. Add the chicken and mix into the sauce to coat. Refrigerate to marinade for 1-2 hours (or overnight for a stronger flavour).
- Remove wings from marinade and reserve liquid. Arrange chicken wings skin side up onto an oven tray lined with aluminium foil, and drizzle with a little extra honey. Grill/broil for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Turn the wings and grill/broil for a further 5-8 minutes more, or until they are golden, sticky and cooked through.
- While the wings are in the oven; pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan, and bring to the boil for 5 minutes.
- To serve, pour honey sauce over the wings and garnish with sesame seeds.

Steps:
- Whisk together the buttermilk, hot pepper sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl; pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken wings, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator 12 to 24 hours.
- Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease two baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine the crushed cornflakes, flour, cornmeal, and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, and squeeze off excess. Discard the remaining marinade. Press the wings into the cornflake mixture and place onto the prepared baking sheets. Spray the top of the wings with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the meat is no longer pink and is pulled easily from the bone, 30 to 40 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, stir together the honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over medium heat until the honey thins. Keep warm until the wings are ready. Once the chicken has cooked, place the wings into a large mixing bowl and drizzle with the honey sauce. Toss until evenly coated. Now you will have a big pile of hot, crunchy, spicy, sticky wings.

- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili paste. Add chicken and let marinate for 15 minutes, stirring often.
- Set up a gas or charcoal grill for medium heat (350° to 400°; you can hold your hand 5 in. above the cooking grate only 5 to 7 seconds). Put chicken on grill and cover with lid. Cook, turning often, until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine honey and hoisin sauce. Using a pastry brush, generously baste chicken wings with honey glaze. Cover grill with lid and cook till honey glaze starts to caramelize, about 3 minutes. Turn chicken wings over and baste again, using the remaining honey glaze. Cook 3 minutes more, being careful not to let the glaze burn, removing pieces from the grill as they're done.
- Transfer to a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve any remaining honey glaze on the side.
