1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) tub whipped topping (thawed (Cool Whip))
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Graham crackers, vanilla wafers, sugar cookies or pretzels (for dipping)

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, marshmallow cream and vanilla extract on medium speed using a hand mixer until well combined.
  • Add whipped topping and stir with a silicone spatula or large spoon until combined.
  • Transfer cheesecake mixture into a baking dish (or a pie dish) and spread evenly. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading evenly over cheesecake mixture.
  • Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Fluffy and light as air, cherry pie filling gives this dip its incredibly rich flavors. Out of all the dip recipes we make here, this is my family's FAVORITE dip.

1 brick (8 oz. cream cheese, softened)
half of a 7oz. jar of marshmallow cream
1 tub (8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed)
1 can (21 oz. canned cherry pie filling)
graham crackers or short bread cookie sticks for serving

Steps:

  • It is important to prep for this dip and pull out and unwrap cream cheese to soften on the counter at room temp. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Softening cream cheese will help make combining further ingredients easier. I do not recommend microwaving cream cheese to soften it as it can melt quite quickly. Additionally, Cool Whip topping should not be frozen.
  • Add softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
  • Add marshmallow cream and combine well, beating till smooth.
  • Now dump in Cool Whip topping and beat all ingredients together until smooth and spreadable.
  • Carefully spread cheesecake dip onto a serving plate.
  • Top dip with cherry pie filling.
  • Serve cherry cheesecake dip immediately or refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
  • Dippers usually include shortbread sticks or graham crackers.

1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1 (21 ounce) can strawberry pie filling

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon extract in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Fold in whipped topping. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust and smooth evenly. Top with pie filling.
  • Refrigerate until firm, 2 to 3 hours.

  • Fold in the cool whip one tub at a time. Make sure you are mixing the ingredients very well using a spoon or spatula. Do not use a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  • Using a clean spoon or offset spatula, gently smooth the cheesecake mixture over the graham cracker crumbs. (You will want to work from the outside in and make sure you are moving large amounts. The crumbs are not stuck to the bottom of the pan so you will need to work gently or you will end up mixing the crumbs into your cheesecake dip.)
