BANANA COCONUT CREAM POPSICLES

Banana Coconut Cream Popsicles image

Cold and creamy popsicles, naturally sweetened with bananas blended with coconut cream.

Provided by Heather Smoke

Categories     Dessert     Snack

Time 8h10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips, (optional)
2 large frozen bananas, (cut into chunks)
14 oz unsweetened canned coconut cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Divide the chocolate chips between 10 popsicle molds, about a teaspoon each.
  • In a blender, puree the frozen bananas, coconut cream, vanilla and cinnamon until smooth and thick. Pour into the molds. Tap the molds firmly against the counter a few times to get rid of any air bubbles and to let the banana mixture settle around the chocolate chips.
  • Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until solid, about 8 hours, or overnight. Run the molds under warm water to remove the popsicles, and store them in the freezer in an air-tight container.

BANANA POPS RECIPE

Banana Pops Recipe image

A delicious, easy-to-make dessert for any occasion!

Provided by The Gracious Pantry

Categories     Dessert

Time 8h10m

Number Of Ingredients 3

4 medium bananas
⅓ cup Nuts ((whatever kind you like, chopped))
⅓ cup dark chocolate chips ((I used the Enjoy Life brand. They are the cleanest I can find.))

Steps:

  • Combine the chocolate and nuts.
  • Chop well to make a finely chopped mixture.
  • Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Push a popsicle stick into the center through the wider (cut) end of the banana halves.
  • Roll the bananas in the chopped mixture. You will have to press the mixture into the bananas as well. Rolling alone won't get it to stick very well.
  • Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours. Overnight is better.
  • Note: If you want to be fancy, melt some chocolate and dip the bananas in that. THEN roll them in the nuts.

BANANA CINNAMON POPSICLES

Banana Cinnamon Popsicles image

I came up with this morning when I discovered I had two ripe bananas left on the counter. These are very tasty and with the warm weather coming this is a very satisfying and refreshing treat. I used organic bananas in this, they just taste better! I used a small popcicle maker for this. Each popcicle holds 1/4 cup of this mixture.

Provided by Chef Joey Z.

Categories     Dessert

Time 10m

Yield 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 bananas (or 1 cup banana puree)
1 cup silk soy coffee creamer
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Puree the bananas in a blender. You will need one cup of bananas. I used my Magic Bullet for this and it worked great. Add the creamer, cinnamon and vanilla and whiz it round again.
  • Put into 1/4 cup popcicle cups and freeze for several hours or until totally frozen.

BANANA CHAI POPSICLES

Banana Chai Popsicles image

Sweet and creamy banana blend with spicy chai into a unique, refreshing popsicle!

Provided by Faith

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 2

3/4 cup (180 ml) very strong brewed chai tea, cooled (see Note)
2 large very ripe bananas (with lots of brown spots), peeled

Steps:

  • Add the chai tea and bananas to a blender or food processor and process until completely smooth. Taste and add stevia or honey if desired (the sweetness of the banana is enough for me).
  • Spoon the banana mixture into popsicle molds, making sure not to fill the molds over the "fill" line, since liquid expands as it freezes. (My molds are 2 1/2 oz/75 ml and I got exactly 7 popsicles.) Gently tap the mold a couple times on a hard surface to help any air bubbles escape, then insert the sticks.
  • Transfer to the freezer and freeze completely, about 3 to 4 hours, depending on the size of your popsicles and how cold your freezer is. To easily unmold the popsicles, dip the plastic bottoms in warm water and they should slide right out.
  • Once unmolded, wrap each popsicle individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer.
