SLOW COOKER ASIAN PORK ROAST
Steps:
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, salt, powdered ginger, cinnamon, garlic, cloves, black pepper, and crushed red pepper. Mix until combined
- Place the roast in your slow cooker and rub the seasonings on both sides of the pork roast.
- Add ½ cup water in the slow cooker, (don't pour it directly over the roast because you don't want to wash away the rub).
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, then preheat your broiler.
- Just before the pork is done, combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, cornstarch, rice vinegar, cold water, and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat and stir until mixture thickens, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in minced ginger.
- Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray.
- Remove the pork from the crock pot and place on the cookie sheet. Brush a generous amount of the glaze on the pork.
- Broil the pork for 1 or 2 minutes, until bubbly and caramelized. Watch it closely. Repeat 2 or 3 more times. Serve the remaining glaze on the side.
ASIAN PORK TENDERLOIN
Steps:
- Combine all the ingredients except the tenderloins in a food processor and pulse several times to puree. Put the tenderloins in a large plastic storage bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Heat a large nonstick ovenproof skillet over high heat. When the skillet is hot, add the tenderloins and sear, turning to ensure even browning, about 4 minutes. Transfer to the oven and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 145 degrees F. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Alternatively, heat a grill to medium-hot. Grill the tenderloins, turning several times, for 25 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 145 degrees F. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- In a large saute pan over high heat, add sesame oil and heat. Add the snow peas and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the sesame seeds and toss well. Add the lemon juice and zest and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley.
ASIAN-GLAZED 'MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH' PORK TENDERLOIN
A sweet and salty brine is the secret to this Asian-inspired pork tenderloin. Let the pork tenderloin soak in the brine for 2 to 8 hours to become tender, juicy, and flavorful. Grill and serve the sliced tenderloin with the Asian glaze. Complete the meal with brown rice, glazed carrots, and steamed green vegetables.

SLOW COOKER HONEY-SOY BRAISED PORK WITH LIME AND GINGER
Here to save your weeknight life: a slow-cooker main that's truly "set-it-and-forget-it," with results that taste like they required significantly more effort. This rich and flavorful pork takes about 5 minutes to throw together in the morning. Before dinner, just simmer the sauce - a sweet-salty mix of soy and honey - until it's syrupy, shred the meat, add a flurry of fresh herbs and you're done. The meat is a wonderfully simple anchor, and you can build a meal around it: Add lettuce cups and kimchi or serve it over rice, whole grains or even tortillas.

Steps:
- Place the pork in a 6- to 8-quart slow cooker. Scatter the garlic, ginger, red-pepper flakes and lime zest over the top. In a liquid measuring cup, whisk together the tamari, honey and sesame oil, then pour it over the pork. Using tongs, turn to coat all sides of the pork in the sauce, and spoon some over the top so that some of the garlic and ginger is on top of the pork. Cover and cook on low until the pork is very tender and shreds easily with a fork, 8 to 9 hours; it will hold well on warm. (If you are home and able to flip the pork once during cooking, that will help the flavors distribute evenly on the meat and make the color uniform. If not, it will be fine.)
- Using tongs, transfer the pork from the slow cooker to a serving platter or large, shallow serving bowl. Using a ladle, skim excess fat off the surface of the cooking liquid, if desired. Carefully pour the sauce into a large pot. Bring the sauce to a boil over medium-high heat and let it simmer until reduced and slightly syrupy, 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, coarsely shred the pork using two forks.
- Sprinkle the lime juice over the top of the meat. Drizzle about half the sauce over the top of the shredded meat, tossing to evenly combine. Serve over rice or noodles or in lettuce cups. Top with sesame seeds, scallions and cilantro. Pass the remaining sauce at the table, if desired, as well as extra lime wedges and red-pepper flakes.
ASIAN PORK TENDERLOIN
This is a simple and flavorful recipe. For best results, marinate the pork at least 8 hours (overnight is best) and flip it after 4 hours. It's great with rice and Asian veggies like bok choy! Enjoy!
