1-1/3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup 4% cottage cheese
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 cup whole milk
1 small onion, grated
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Add cottage, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses; set aside., In a large saucepan, combine cornstarch and milk until smooth. Stir in onion, green pepper, mustard, salt and pepper flakes. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Pour over macaroni mixture; gently stir to coat., Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Combine cornflakes and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the top is golden brown.

1 loaf (1 pound) French bread
2 cups cubed Monterey Jack cheese (1/4-inch pieces)
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham (1/4-inch pieces)
1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoon prepared mustard

Steps:

  • Slice bread diagonally about every 1/2 in., not cutting all the way through bottom crust. Place loaf on a piece of foil large enough to wrap it completely. , Insert the cheese, ham and onion evenly between every other slice. Combine remaining ingredients; drizzle between slices and over top. Wrap foil tightly. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Cut bread between unstuffed slices; serve warm.

2 slices American cheese or 2 slices cheddar cheese
2 slices bacon, crisply cooked and drained
2 teaspoons Miracle Whip

Steps:

  • Spread the outsides of both slices of bread with the Miracle Whip dressing.
  • Add the cheese and the bacon to the inside of one slice of bread.
  • Top with the other slice of bread.
  • Grill sandwich in nonstick skillet over medium heat for about 2-5 minutes, until the sandwich is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  • Blend in flour, salt, pepper, cayenne and mustard.
  • Stir constantly for one minute until well mixed. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk.
  • Return to heat and cook over medium high heat until thick and bubbly. Stir frequently.
  • Mix in cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat, cover to keep warm until serving.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 10-inch quiche dish. Spread the salsa on the bottom. Distribute the chopped artichokes evenly over the salsa. Sprinkle with the cheeses.
  • Blend the eggs, add sour cream and seasonings. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.

Provided by my friend Tom - who happens to be a phenomenal cook! This bread is easy to make. The ingredient list is a bit different than what you might expect, but they are common. There are two options for this. You can use Parmesan cheese or Mozzarella. If you choose the Parm cheese, you'll need to mix that in with all the other ingredients. If you go with Mozzarella, sprinkle that on top of the creamy ingredients. AND if you are feeling totally crazy, use both cheeses. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll be making this one again. Enjoy!

1 loaf French bread
1/4 cup butter, softened (1 stick)
1 tablespoon Miracle Whip, this is the secret. Make this one big Tablespoon. You could substitute regular mayo if you want, but
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, add to taste, we never measure this
1 cup mozzarella cheese or 1 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Mix together the Miracle Whip, softened butter, and garlic powder. If using Parmesan, blend into the mixture.
  • Spread mixture over inside of bread. Optional to top with Monzarella.
  • Open faced, place the bread on a cookie sheet and put into the oven.
  • Bake on broil for about 5-8 minutes until bubbly and slightly brown on top.
  • Remove from oven, and let rest a few minutes before cutting and serving.
