12 ounces saltines
1 egg
1/2 cup warm water
1 onion, diced
2 tablespoons chicken fat or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Fry onions slowly in fat until soft and golden. Set aside.
  • Crush biscuits and saltines. Combine crumbs with onions and remaining ingredients. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook as usual.
