HAWAIIAN PORK CHOPS
Quick and Easy Hawaiian Pork Chops. Pan fried pork chops simmered in a sweet and tangy Hawaiian sauce. Ready in under 25 minutes!

Steps:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet.
- Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Add pork to the hot skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side or until each side is nice and browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In a large measuring cup combine soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and only the pineapple juice (reserve the slices for later). Set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the large skillet. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the pork back to the sauce.
- In a small bowl mix together cornstarch and water.
- Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir.
- Add in the reserved pineapple slices and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened and pork reaches 145 degrees. The thin pork do not take very long.
- Serve immediately with chopped parsley for garnish, if desired.

- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. , In the same skillet, saute green pepper and onion in remaining 1 teaspoon oil until almost tender, about 2 minutes. Stir in broth, pineapple, ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Return pork to the pan. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 5-7 minutes. Remove and keep warm., Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with pork and, if desired, rice.

- In a medium size pot, add the first 8 ingredients; stir to combine.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat, for about 10 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
- Remove sauce from heat and set aside.
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, cook chops, onion, and garlic in oil until the chops are browned.
- Add water and reserved sauce.
- Cover and cook on medium-low for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, adding more water if needed.
- Stir in pineapple and heat through.
- Serve over hot cooked rice.

- Place 3/4 cup pina colada mix in a shallow dish. Add pork; turn to coat. Refrigerate at least 1 hour., Drain pork, discarding marinade. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. - Brown the pork chops slowly in a greased skillet just to a light golden brown; remove and transfer to an oven pan. Chops should be arranged in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, mix the remaining ingredients, except for the pineapple; bring to a boil and cook to thicken. Pour the sauce over the pork chops; top with the crushed pineapple, juice and all. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated 275 degree oven for 2-1/2 to 3 hours.

- Mix flour, salt, and pepper together in a shallow bowl. Press pork chops into flour mixture until coated on both sides; shake excess flour back into bowl.
- Heat shortening in a large skillet over medium heat; cook pork chops until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Drain excess fat from skillet and return pork chops to skillet.
- Mix 3/4 cup water, pineapple juice, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg in skillet with pork chops. Cover skillet and simmer until cooked through and sauce is somewhat reduced, about 30 minutes. Add pineapple rings and cook 5 minutes more.
