This is in response to a request on the boards. Very simple and tasty chip or veggie dip recipe. I put the chill time under prep time so don't let that scare you.

1 pint sour cream
8 dill pickles, chopped
1/4 cup pickle juice
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir thoroughly.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

This recipe is a bit different than the others on zaar. Beau Monde Seasoning is listed, but any all seasoning mix will work. Good with potato chips or vegetables as a dip.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons dill weed
2 teaspoons beau monde seasoning
8 dill pickle spears (coarsely chopped)
2 tablespoons parsley
2 tablespoons onions (minced)

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients, chill at least 8 hours, 10 is better.
  • Serve with potato chips or vegetable sticks.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 -1 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle (I used my mini food processor, it was a snap!)
1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 -4 tablespoons pickle juice, for thinner dip (use less for thicker dip (or more)
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Use a wooden spoon to press into the cream cheese then stir until loosened up and smooth. Stir in all of the remaining ingredients until evenly distributed. Transfer to a serving dish and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

This is better than any store-bought dip I have ever tried. I use light cream cheese,but feel free to use regular for added richness.

2 dill pickles, finely chopped
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons pickle juice (or more)
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients well,and chill for one hour to allow all flavors to blend. This dip is phenomenal with Ruffles chips!
