TERIYAKI STEAK NOODLES WITH BROCCOLI
You love to cook, but you hate, hate, hate one of the biggest consequences of cooking: the dishes. You'll let that pile of dirties get to the heights of the tower of Babel. With this meal, you can save the seared, water-logged hands for another day. All you need is a pot, a pan, and a colander, and your taste buds to savor teriyaki sauce, with a hint of heat, coating tender steak strips and fresh broccoli. Chores can wait until you're done eating... okay, until tomorrow morning... maybe the evening after next. Tip: Make quick work of mincing garlic by smashing the whole clove with the side of your chef's knife. Then rock the knife back and forth, keeping the tip steady by resting your other hand over the top.

FLANK STEAK TERIYAKI AND PEPPERS WITH SPICY NOODLES
This is a get-on-the-table fast meal that doesn't taste hurried. For the three bell peppers, I like to use one each of red, yellow, and green for a colorful presentation.

Steps:
- Spray skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and garlic together. Saute, stirring pretty constantly for about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with pepper. Combine well. Stir and cook till desired doneness. I leave mine a good 10 minutes because I like my broccoli extra soft, but if you like yours with a crunch still, only cook it a couple more minutes.

- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the broccoli florets and quickly sauté for a 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the broccoli from the skillet, add in the other tablespoon of olive oil and then add in the thinly sliced flat iron steak. Spread the steak out evenly in the pan and sauté for a couple minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the chopped garlic, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the flat iron steak, add the broccoli back into the skillet and toss to coat completely. Reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the sauce to simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. After they are drained, quickly rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. Add the noodles in with the steak and broccoli and toss to evenly combine. Enjoy!
