Steps:
- Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave for 20 seconds on 50% power.
- Top each tortilla with refried beans, Taco Bell red sauce, onions and cheese.
- Fold in the top and bottom and wrap tightly before serving.

TACO TIME CRISP BEAN BURRITOS COPYCAT
i was looking for a way to make crispy bean burritos just like taco time does and ran across this recipe on a blog. i added some minced onions for more zip and i like to make my own whole wheat four tortillas.

Number Of Ingredients 5
Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Put 2-3 T. of beans on the end of a tortilla.
- Sprinkle with a little cheese and onions (if using).
- Roll up starting at the end with filling.
- Fry in oil for 15 seconds per side.
- Place on baking sheet
- Repeat until all burritos are rolled up on pan.
- Bake for 5-7 minute.
- Burritos can be put in a freezer bag before baking and frozen for future use.

- In a small saucepan, heat the refried beans over medium-low heat. Add 1/4 cup of water (or more as needed) to loosen the beans.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the flour tortillas one at a time over high heat, flipping once, until they're warmed through, soft, and pliable. Alternatively, heat the tortillas in a microwave until they're warmed through.
- Add a quarter of the bean mixture to a warmed tortilla. Top it with 1 tablespoon of the taco sauce, a quarter of the finely diced onion, and 2 tablespoons of the cheddar cheese.
- Fold the burrito, leaving one side open if you want it to look exactly like Taco Bell's bean burrito.
