Yield Makes 10 ice pops

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup milk
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons honey
2-3 extra strawberries, to slice into rounds for garnish, if desired
Special equipment:
10 3-ounce paper cups
10 wooden ice pop sticks

Steps:

  • 1. In a blender place 1 cup strawberries, milk, yogurt and honey and blend for 1 minute until smooth.
  • 2. Place a strawberry slice in the bottom of a 3 ounce dixie cup. Repeat with the other cups.
  • 3. Fill each cup 3/4 of the way full with the strawberry yogurt mixture and place them in the freezer.
  • 4. Remove cups from the freezer after 1 hour and stick a popsicle stick into the center of each cup.
  • 5. Place cups back in the freezer and let freeze for an additional 4-6 hours.
  • 6. Remove cups from freezer, peel off the paper and serve immediately!

Simple and wholesome popsicles. My mom used to help us make these when we were kids and I still enjoy them years later. Use honey as an alternate sweetener, and blend the fruit to be either chunky or smooth.

2 cups fresh blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and sliced bananas, mixed
2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
¼ cup white sugar
8 small paper cups
8 popsicle sticks

Steps:

  • Place the mixed blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, sliced bananas, yogurt, and sugar into a blender. Cover, and blend until fruit is chunky or smooth, as desired.
  • Fill paper cups 3/4 full with fruit mixture. Cover the top of each cup with a strip of aluminum foil. Poke a popsicle stick through the center of the foil on each cup.
  • Place the cups in the freezer for at least 5 hours. To serve, remove foil and peel off the paper cup.

1 lb strawberry, hulled
1/3 cup sugar, plus 1/4 c (preferably superfine)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 cups vanilla yogurt

Steps:

  • Place strawberries, 1/3 cup sugar and lemon juice in blender; puree 3 minutes. Pour into a large plastic squeeze bottle and screw on bottle top.
  • In a medium bowl, stir remaining 1/4 cup sugar into yogurt until sugar is dissolved. Pour into the second squeeze bottle and screw on bottle top.
  • Fill each pop mold with strawberry and yogurt mixture, alternately squeezing or spooning the mixtures into each mold to create a swirled pattern. Place tops on molds; insert wooden sticks. Freeze at least 6 hours until solidly frozen.
  • Remove molds from freezer. Soften slightly at room temperature, about 5 minutes (or dip molds in warm water a few seconds). Remove pops from molds. Serve immediately, or wrap pops separately in plastic wrap, then store in freezer bag or container.

My kids went ga-ga for these easy popsicles. Three simple ingredients = 15 minutes of quiet time as they enjoyed their frozen, summer treat. :)

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 (6 ounce) containers Greek yogurt, strawberry (I use Chobani Brad)
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (I use Hershey's Brand)
1/4 cup strawberry, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Into a medium mixing bowl, whisk together Greek strawberry yogurt and chocolate syrup. Then stir in chopped strawberries.
  • Carefully spoon mixture into popsicle mold. To prevent air pockets, slide a butter knife slowly in and out of each mold compartment.
  • Freeze for 3-5 hours or until frozen solid.
  • To release popsicles, carefully run warm water only over the bottom of the mold. Gently twist and pull the popsicles out of the mold.
  • Enjoy!

Sugar substitute equivalent to 1/3 cup sugar
1 cup cold water, divided
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed and drained
2 cups fat-free strawberry or vanilla yogurt
16 Popsicle molds or paper cups (3 ounces each) and Popsicle sticks

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the sweetener and 3/4 cup cold water. Combine gelatin and the remaining water in a saucepan; let stand for 2 minutes. Heat until gelatin is dissolved; remove from the heat., In batches, place the strawberries, sweetened water, gelatin mixture and yogurt in a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth. Fill molds or cups with about 1/4 cup strawberry mixture; top with holders or insert sticks into cups. Freeze.

1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons strawberry preserves
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
1-1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
6 freezer pop molds or paper cups (3 ounces each) and wooden pop or lollipop sticks

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix strawberries, vinegar, preserves and rosemary. Let stand 30 minutes; discard rosemary., Spoon 2 tablespoons yogurt and 1 tablespoon strawberry mixture into each mold or paper cup. Repeat layers. Top molds with holders. If using cups, top with foil and insert sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.
