Strawberry Banana Gelatin Salad Food

STRAWBERRY-BANANA SALAD

Steps:

• In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Stir in strawberries, pineapple, bananas and nuts.
• Pour half of the mixture into a 13" x 9" x 2" dish. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
• Set the remaining gelatin mixture aside.
• Combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Spread over the chilled gelatin. Spoon remaining gelatin mixture over top.
• Chill overnight.

• Combine water and jello mix until combined. Add strawberries and stir until the berries are thawed. Add mashed bananas to the jello mixture. Top the jello in the glass dish with cool whip and spoon remaining jello on top. Refrigerate again until firm and serve.

Steps:

• Prepare gelatin with water according to the directions on the package. Refrigerate until slightly set, but not yet firm.
• Meanwhile place hulled and sliced strawberries in a small bowl. Add sugar and leave at room temperature while the gelatin sets in the refrigerator.
• When the gelatin is slightly set, add sliced strawberries, sliced banana, and chopped pecans. Stir gently to mix. Return gelatin to the refrigerator until firm.
• Can be garnished with a tablespoon of whipped cream per serving, if desired.

• Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate about 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression).
• Stir in strawberries and banana. Pour into 5-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray.
• Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Store leftover gelatin mold in refrigerator.

• In a bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water. Pour into a 13-in. x 9-in. dish coated with cooking spray; refrigerate until set., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 minute. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat cream (do not boil). Add softened gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Cool to room temperature. , In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add the unflavored gelatin mixture; mix well. Carefully pour over the bottom layer.
