I have been making this sauce since I was a CHILD. My mother used to make a similar version and I would experiment until I came up with my own version. Again nothing spectacular, but I have to say it's the best sauce I have ever tasted!

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 (28 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons basil
1 1/2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons minced dried onion
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (not fresh, but from a container, like Kraft brand)

Steps:

  • Brown Beef in an extra large sauce pan.
  • When cooked throughly (do not drain unless there is excessive oil, other than that you need the beef oil for flavor)Put in 2 cans of sauce.
  • Add all the spices and parmesan cheese. Bring to just a slight boil, lower heat and cover. Simmer for just 5 more minutes.
  • Serve over your favorite pasta. You might need to add more salt to taste.

1 lb ground beef
1 white onion, Diced
2 garlic cloves, Sliced
thyme
salt
pepper
Worcestershire sauce
1 (26 ounce) jar Prego spaghetti sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Heat oil to temperature in the pan! When hot, add 2 tbsp of the butter!
  • Add delicious onion, and brown it. When onion is translucent, add the garlic until fragrant!
  • Add meat! Delicious meat. Begin to brown meat with onions and garlic!
  • Season meat with thyme, and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce! The meat should taste strongly, so you can taste it through your sauce!
  • Once meat is tasty and flavorful, and cooked, add the jar of Prego! You can use any sauce you want but I find run of the mill Ragu/Prego etc works the best so your meat flavor comes through! Combine with the meat and allow to reduce a bit, to let flavors marry.
  • Serve over your favorite pasta! Tubbortons!

4 pounds ground beef
4 large onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 cans (28 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cans (15 ounces each) tomato paste
1 can (29 ounces) tomato sauce
2 cups water
2 cans (4-1/4 ounces each) chopped ripe olives, drained
2 cans (4 ounces each) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons salt
4 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons pepper

Steps:

  • In several stockpots, cook the beef, onions and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients; cover and simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion
1 garlic clove
1/4 tablespoon salt
1/4 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/2 lb rotini pasta
4 grilled chicken breast fillets (frozen bag from store)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 to heat the ready grilled chicken breast fillets for 20-25 minutes.
  • Boil water for rotini pasta, cook for 15 minutes. Save 1/2 cup of the cooking starchy water for the sauce.
  • Heat olive oil in pan.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic to heated oil, sauté until onions are almost browned.
  • Add salt pepper and red pepper flakes.
  • Add marinara sauce and cream, cook until it comes to a boil and add heated chicken into pan, cook for 5 minutes.
  • When pasta is done, drain and add 1/2 tablespoon of butter.
  • Place pasta, and the chicken and sauce into serving platter.
  • I like to top mine off with some cheese and let it melt.
  • ENJOY!
