I always cook this dish because it taste very good.And I make my own recipe because I love to cook. I called this recipe a filipino beef steak.

6 slices tender steaks
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
1 clove garlic
1 piece ginger
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup onion
4 tablespoons corn oil

Steps:

  • Marinate the steak in lemon juice,soy sauce,garlic,ginger and pepper for 30 minutes.
  • Pan fry in 2 tbsp of oil add the marinated steak cook slow until done.
  • When steak are cooked remove them from the pan onto a serving dish.
  • Dissolve the flour with water.
  • Add the remaining oil in the same pan and pan fry the onion until tender and add the dissolve flour for 1 minute.
  • Pile on the of steaks Serve hot with plain rice.

A speedy, inexpensive main course perfect for weekday dinners. Adjust the amount of taco seasoning to suit your taste. Serve them on Texas toast with a tossed salad.

1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 (4 ounce) beef cube steaks or 4 (4 ounce) pork cube steaks
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup bottled ranch dressing
1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Steps:

  • Steak: Combine bread crumbs and taco mix in a shallow dish.
  • Brush cube steaks with oil and press both sides of the steaks into the crumbs.
  • Heat remaining oil in a non-stick skillet, cook steaks over medium high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Sauce: While steaks are cooking, combine dressing and taco mix in a small sauce pan over medium heat, stirring until hot.
  • Add cilantro and spoon over steaks just before serving.
