CROCK POT CHICKEN WINGS
Slow Cooker Chicken Wings are the perfect game day snack! Tender, fall off the bone and are loaded with flavor, serve these with carrots and celery sticks and cooling ranch dressing.

Steps:
- Combine Buffalo wing sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Place wings in a 6qt slow cooker and cover with Buffalo wing sauce. Stir to combine.
- Cook on high for 2 ½ - 3 hours for FROZEN wings or on low 3 hours for FRESH wings.
- Once cooked and wings have reached 165°F, remove from the slow cooker and place on a foil lined pan (discard liquid).
- Preheat broiler to high. Brush with additional Buffalo sauce and broil until lightly browned/crisp about 5 minutes per side.
- Serve with celery, carrots, extra buffalo sauce and Litehouse Homestyle Ranch for dipping.

- Mix sugar, paprika, mustard, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper together. Place ingredients in large plastic zip-lock bag. Dump chicken wings or drumsticks into bag and shake until all chicken is coated; transfer to slow cooker. Pour ½ cup of the barbecue sauce over chicken and stir to coat. Cover and cook until chicken is tender, 3-4 hours on low for wings, 4-6 hours on low for drumsticks.
- Position oven rack 10 inches from broiler element and heat on high. Place a wire cooling rack on an aluminum foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and coat the wire rack with vegetable oil spray. Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet; discard braising liquid that remains in slow cooker.
- Brush chicken with ½ cup more barbecue sauce and broil until lightly charred and crisp (to your liking), about 10 to 15 minutes. Flip chicken over, brush with remaining ½ cup barbecue sauce, and continue to broil until lightly charred and crisp on second side, 5 to 10 minutes longer. Serve.

- Put the chicken wings in a 6-quart slow cooker and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Mix together the honey, hoisin, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger and five-spice powder in a small bowl or measuring cup. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to mix. Cover and cook on high, stirring occasionally, until the wings are cooked through and tender and the sauce is slightly thickened, about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Preheat the broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Transfer the wings to the baking sheet using tongs or a slotted spoon. Drizzle about 1/2 cup of the sauce over the wings; discard any remaining sauce. Broil, flipping the wing halfway through, until golden, about 6 minutes. Sprinkle with the scallions and serve warm.

- 1. For the sauce Tip: I use a food processor to mince the onion, peppers, and garlic. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 2. Add the processed vegetable to the oil and saute about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients except cilantro and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer about 20 minutes. Stir in the cilantro.
- 3. For the chicken Place the chicken breast in a slow cooker. Cover with salt, chicken stock, lime juice and half of the ranchero sauce. Cook on low for 6 hours. Remove the chicken and shred. Return the chicken to the slow cooker add the remaining ranchero sauce. cook 1 more hour.

- Spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add chicken wings and taco seasoning mix; toss to coat.
