SIZZLING SOUTHWEST BURGERS
These zesty burgers are bursting with flavor. Taco seasoning, peppers, and pepperjack cheese give ground beef a boost. Then the patties are served up on buns with sour cream and salsa. A fun twist on barbecued burgers!

Steps:
- Preheat grill for high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, taco seasoning mix, bell pepper and onion using your hands. Form into 6 patties.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook burger patties for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Place buns cut side down onto the grill to toast during the last minute or so. Top each burger with a slice of cheese before removing from the grill. Serve burgers on toasted buns topped with salsa and sour cream.

- Place the patties on a tray in one layer. Mix the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic and onion powders and paprika in a small bowl. Sprinkle on both sides of the patties and rest at room temperature for 2 hours.
- Heat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Add the patties to the grill and cook to desired doneness, flipping once.
- Meanwhile, whisk together the cheese sauce and sriracha seasoning in a small saucepot. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until fully combined and hot.
- Lay down some lettuce leaves on the bottom buns, then top with the patties, onion slices, fried jalapenos and finally the cheese sauce. Top with the top buns and serve.

SIZZLE BURGER HAMBURGERS
My husband found this recipe many years ago in a magazine, and we have made our hamburgers like this ever since. They are yum! They come out juicy and full of flavor. I make my hamburger patties out of ground chuck by pulling off a hunk and forming a patty with as little touching as possible- keeps them moist that way.

- In skillet, melt butter over medium heat. When butter is melted, pour in worcestershire sauce and stir until blended with the butter and hot. - In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef and sausage over mixture; mix well. Shape into eight patties. , Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. - Coat grill with cooking spray; heat on high. Mix sirloin, pepper, egg white, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and hot sauce in a bowl. Form into four 4-inch patties. Set aside. Cook corn with 1 tablespoon water in microwave 30 seconds; mix with tomato, cilantro, juice and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt in another bowl. Grill burgers 12 minutes, turning halfway through, until no longer pink in the center. Place on buns and top with salsa. Serve with Grilled Tricolor Peppers .
