2 bottles dry white wine
3/4 cup brandy
1/2 cup Triple Sec
3/4 cup simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves and cooled)
3/4 cup passion fruit puree
2 cups fresh orange juice
3 oranges, sliced into thin rounds
3 green apples, cored and sliced thinly
2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds
1 cup blackberries, washed and sliced in 1/2

Steps:

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 2 days. Serve over ice with pieces of the fruit.

1 (750 mL) bottle dry Gewurztraminer
3/4 cup orange liqueur, preferably Gran Gala
6 tablespoons Simple Syrup for Passion Fruit Sangria
7 tablespoons passion fruit puree
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 orange, quartered and thinly sliced
1 lime, quartered and thinly sliced
1 cup blackberries, halved
1/4 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch-long, 1/4-inch thick pieces
15 thin slices peeled fresh ginger

Steps:

In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine Gewurztraminer, orange liqueur, simple syrup, passion fruit puree, orange, lime, blackberries, pineapple, and ginger; stir to combine. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
To serve, pour sangria into wine glasses filled with ice, making sure to add some fruit to each glass.

1/4 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch batons
15 thin slices peeled fresh ginger
Simple Syrup
6 tablespoons sugar
(makes 6 tablespoons)

Steps:

In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine the Gewürztraminer, orange liqueur, simple syrup, passion fruit puree, orange juice, orange, lime, blackberries, pineapple, and ginger and stir well. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
When ready to serve, fill wine glasses with ice. Divide the sangria, with the fruit, among the glasses.
